Wedding cakes can range from $3–$15 per serving . Tiered cakes are more expensive than sheet cake styled cakes.

How should we cut our wedding cake?

Traditionally, you’d do a ceremonial cutting first, often holding hands on the knife. The caterer then takes the cake away and cuts it into slices to distribute to guests. If you’re slicing it up yourselves, take apart the tiers and cut them into small rectangles. Remember to wrap and freeze the top layer for your anniversary!

How should we transport our wedding cake?

Very carefully! Ideally, your cake will be delivered by your bakery, which should have plenty of experience transporting cakes. You can also purchase special boxes made to protect the tiers.

When should we order our wedding cake?

Set up tastings (the fun part!) around 7 months out. Once you’ve decided, place your order.

The quality of their work was excellent - truly the best cakes and desserts I've ever seen. They took so much stress off of me, even decorating our cake with the flowers and cake topper I provided. Jayna and Joey were very communicative, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process, making it so easy to book them and ensuring they showed up on time on the big day. I would highly recommend Caketini Bar. Co to any couple looking for exceptional cakes and desserts for their wedding.”

“Going with The Naked Cupcake for our wedding day was a no-brainer. We compared several different places and none of them hit the mark like The Naked Cupcake did. To start, they offer the option of a virtual consultation for the tasting, which makes it super easy and convenient for busy people like my husband and I. You get to pick out 4 different combinations to taste for cupcakes, pick them up, and then schedule a virtual consultation that works for your schedule. After that, it was smooth sailing. I told Alison exactly what I was looking for and she delivered! She was so easy to talk to, flexible to get us what we wanted, and quick! Plus, she was very on top of things making sure our venue got their insurance, communicating with our wedding planner, etc. My husband and I were so happy we went with them. We loved our wedding cake, all the flavors from the tasting were so good we went with pretty much all of them, and they were so kind to leave us a sweet handwritten card with a mini cake for my husband and I to take home (we decided to freeze it and have it on our one year anniversary :)).
