As a last minute gesture to my partner and I, he stepped in as our officiant. We’re forever grateful for him & his genuine support for my partner and I. Ricky made our day that much more special! “When I heard about the Colonial at Sunset and its location, I assumed it was going to be another barn venue. Nothing wrong with barn venues, it just wasn’t our vision for our day. The entire property was our backyard wedding dream and the owners made our experience better than we could have imagined. Britt and her husband went above and beyond for us. Before we even arrived to start getting ready for the day, her husband was out front pressure washing the outdoor area where we chose to have our ceremony. I am so grateful for their hearts and the details they payed attention to so we didn’t have to worry about it or even think about it. We opted for the all inclusive package which made our experience with planning that much easier. I recall one meeting asking if I was missing anything or if there was anything more I needed to do because it all felt too easy and she assured me that with her help, that’s how it was supposed to feel. Leading up to the day of the wedding we knew we wanted our focus to be on each other and God and walking into the day we knew we could confidently do that because of Britt and the way she serves others on their special day with excellence. “Madison Barn truly went above & beyond for our wedding day. From start to finish, they were so helpful and made everything feel easy and stress-free. We did their all-inclusive package and loved how flexible it was—we were able to customize it to be exactly what we wanted. Bailey was amazing to work with. Whether it was using our own photographer and officiant, having a band during cocktail hour, or bringing some of our own décor like signage, she made it all seamless. We dropped off our decorations two days before the wedding and didn’t have to think about them until it was time to leave. The food was delicious, the coffee and ice cream truck was a huge hit, the DJ paid attention to every little detail, and the entire team behind the scenes made sure everything flowed perfectly. My bouquet from their florist was jaw dropping. We felt completely relaxed the entire day and were able to truly be present and enjoy it. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the venue was, how smooth the day felt, and how calm and happy we seemed—and that’s all thanks to the incredible team at Madison Barn. We couldn’t recommend them more!!”
