About this venue
Chateau Mariposa is an intimate, Mediterranean-modern estate designed for couples who value presence over production and connection over crowds. We specialize in micro-weddings and elopements, typically hosting celebrations of up to 50 guests, allowing you to stay deeply connected to the people who matter most while enjoying a relaxed, unhurried experience. What makes Chateau Mariposa especially unique is that your wedding becomes a celebration weekend, not just a single event. All weddings and elopements are hosted alongside a two-night stay on the property, giving you space to breathe, gather, celebrate, and truly be present. Our approach is intentionally simple and flexible. We provide a beautiful, thoughtfully designed setting that allows couples the freedom to personalize their celebration with vendors, décor, and moments that reflect who they truly are. Many couples choose Mariposa because it doesn’t feel like a venue - it feels like a place where love naturally belongs.

Mariposa boasts a vintage old Florida feel. The Pine Pergola (hand-built from pines harvested on the property) is nestled on 2 1/2 wooded acres. At night, under the lights is magical. The Mediterranean modern vibe of the Chateau makes it an immersive experience from beginning to end.

The perfect getting ready spot
We fell in love as soon as we found the chateau! They responded quickly to every question and were genuinely kind throughout the entire planning process. When we arrived for our wedding day, they'd left a beautiful card and fresh flowers in the kitchen, an unexpected and thoughtful touch that set the tone perfectly and was such a sweet welcome. The house itself is absolutely stunning with plenty of space for all our guests, we just used as a home base for getting ready but they have a gorgeous wedding venue in the backyard, which I joked about just switching our wedding to the backyard! After the wedding, I realized I'd lost my mom's earring, and they found it and helped me get it back. Their combination of gorgeous accommodations, responsive communication, and genuine care made our wedding day truly special.

A stay we’ll never forget
Chateau Mariposa was beyond great. I had a very intimate micro wedding, only 12 guests total, and finding this place was a sign that it was meant to be, from the moment I booked Carmen answered questions, accommodated our needs, and was beyond helpful. We’ll remember Chateau Mariposa with the warmest hearts. From the moment we checked in, we had our names and a welcome message on the mirror, as well as fresh flowers and a letter from them wishing us the best in our marriage. So much care and thought goes into your stay there, believe me, you’ll feel it until the check-out day, and you’ll wish you could stay longer. We thank you, and we will be back!
