Hello! My name is Brigette and I am based out of the Chicago land area, but make it my mission to travel for photography as much as possible! I love the color purple, crazy hats, funk music, & all things outdoors! Traveling is my number one passion! I LOVE connecting with couples and getting to tell their love story authentically. I like to connect my subjects with nature and use natural lighting to create breathtaking images that emphasize my love for the natural beauty we find outside every day!

Andrew and I are so blessed to call San Luis Obispo home. We were introduced by a mutual friend in 2011 and the rest is history. We love the small-town feel with the convenience of shops and restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

The best way that I can describe myself is that I am a "dog person" when I'm out and a "cat person" behind the scenes. As a digital and film photographer, I'm very interested in unique and varied light scenarios that incorporate unique backdrops and angles. I have been working as a professional photographer for over 5 years and there is not a day where I don't find myself learning something new about it, and that to me is part of the joy. I strive for imagery that makes your eyes linger, incorporating equal parts creative beauty and technical skill. My images have been featured by GQ Magazine, David's Bridal, AirBNB, Chubbies, and more.

My biggest passions are aesthetics and human connection...so weddings are naturally my favorite thing to photograph. After hundreds of weddings, I still find myself tearing up (or maybe a little more than tearing up) at almost every wedding I photograph. People describe me as being sweet and my work as having a delicate, elegant, feminine, and refined quality to it. I believe in authentic romance and real love. My favorite weddings are outdoors, featuring sweeping coastal backdrops, soaring redwoods, rolling hills, or gorgeous vineyards mixed with tastefully stylish decor - and always with a lot of love.

If there’s one thing that low-key sets my soul on fire, it’s crafting and capturing an experience that celebrates the fireworks between you two. A bubbly Jane of all trades, I’m also the hype-woman who’ll crack you up with a well-timed “that’s what she said” joke. The trusted long-time friend who’ll tick off wedding planning to-dos like it’s no biggie. he detail-oriented nerd who’s got a playbook for everything from rain to wardrobe malfunctions, so the only thing you have to worry about is busting your baddest moves on the dance floor.

I am passionate about helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera so we can create photographs that feel real. I live downtown in Salt Lake City and my home is full of plants. When I’m not connecting with people through photography, I probably am: teaching photography, with my family, outside exploring, making art, or dancing in the kitchen.
