We're a Scottish duo living our best lives in Los Angeles! We appreciate unpopular TV shows, all the vegan food, and a good old road trip. But our most favorite thing is our two fur-kids (bunnies!). We are not typical wedding photographers, that is for certain. We go against the usual grain, and that's exactly how we like it to roll. Normal is boring. Well, for us, at least. Not just for the 'wild at heart' and 'free-spirited'. For e v e r y o n e. And we mean it. We don't discriminate. Ever.

Amazing! I really wish they planned events because I would hire them for everything. Sarah Darren were the kindest, most responsive, helpful, and patient vendors we hired for our wedding. Darren even helped move our ceremony arch! Totally not his job but we really appreciated the help! My husband and I hate taking pictures and we felt so comfortable on our wedding day. We really didn’t want cheesy traditional wedding photography so when we stumbled upon their instagram page we knew we had to hire them. Major plus that they love Harry Potter, Stranger Things, and spooky stuff! They’re the coolest humans. Hire them. You won’t regret it.

Hi, nice to meet you! I'm Sarah from Sarah Luther Photography. I specialize in weddings, family portraits and event photography. I started Sarah Luther Photography out of a passion for capturing love and emotion through photography. Growing up, my mom would always take tons of family pictures. I was given a camera as a gift when I was 10 years old and haven't been without one since. :)

Sarah and her husband Ori photographed our wedding in July and we couldn't be happier with our photos. They make a great team, professional and easy to work with. Amazing photographers who love what they do and its evident in their photos. We wanted more candid, natural pictures opposed to posed ones. They got so many unexpected moments and memorable shots. From getting ready, to the ceremony, to dancing at the receptions and everything in-between. All without even knowing that they were there taking pictures. We were so happy that we chose Sarah as our photographer and you will too!!! Thank You Sarah and Ori for photographing our wedding!!! Eydie & Rick

I want to capture all your in-between moments, those are my favorite, the way you guys sneak looks and steal kisses. I don’t want to be just another person who shows up and waves a black box in your face. I want your photos to represent your effortless connection, the closeness with your person, and all the other things that make you guys YOU! I am inspired by your love and I want to capture YOUR raw and real story. I want to tell it through my photos. And the fact that no else has been in my shoes, I see the world through eyes that no one else has. That’s what makes me different. Also NO TRAVEL FEE anywhere in the states!!

We got married in June 2022, and even now looking at our photos and video has us in disbelief at how Ruzin beautifully captured our special day. It’s like we’re viewing someone else’s wedding, but it’s actually ours! Throughout wedding planning, she went above and beyond for us and we can’t truly express our gratitude. She takes the time to get personal and get to know you well and understand your vision to help take it to the next level. We’ve seen many wedding photos, but hands down ours were the best. Choosing her was the best decision we made!

Elopements are an incredible way to fuse together everything you love about doing life with your person and celebrate your relationship in a genuine, meaningful way. They allow you to put your marriage first. To release any pressure or judgment and just be you, together. Not only are you committing your life to someone you love more than anything, but you’re starting the adventure of a lifetime with an adventure of a lifetime. And because I’ll be there to help you craft the whole thing, and document it as it unfolds, you can relive your best day ever; over and over, forever.

I shot my first elopement wedding film with Jayne and she was such a joy to work with! Not only was she helpful in making sure I could get the shots I need, but she definitely had a rapport with the couple that really put them at ease. The other thing that really stood out was how thoughtful and detailed she was. She had done so much scouting, research, and leg work that the day just flowed really well and everything was just easy! Would highly recommend working with Jayne!

Photographing a couple's love story is something I never take for granted. It is an honor & privilege to create art for my couples. My absolute favorite thing to do is illustrate your love story, your adventure, your favorite memories. Let's create some magic!

Ashley is seriously one of the best vendors I've ever worked with. Her photos are wonderful and fit the sweet, romantic style with a hint of vintage. But not only is her work great, she's so easy to work with. She makes sure to be there for every step of the process and is so easy to talk to. My husband and I are not the most photogenic but she makes the whole process simple and fun. I can't recommend her enough!

Hello, I am a wedding and portrait photographer/cinematographer in San Francisco Bay Area. My photography is documentary style that focus on capturing natural moments, and candid pictures. I truly believe that wedding is not only for the bride and groom, but also family members, relatives, and friends. Capturing the joy and touching moments, and tell a story through my images is my philosophy. I studied Cinema and Creative arts at San Francisco State University. I love wedding photography/cinematography for the festive atmosphere and the excitement that comes from spending time with couples on their big day.

Jin is amazing! He is easy to work with, flexible, kind, humble and so talented. He has taken pictures of our wedding, our son's first birthday event, and most recently, our family. He has delivered beautiful pictures every time. You will be so happy with his work.

We're Jay and Larissa, partners, parents, and documentary wedding photographers based in Chicago and capturing weddings around the world. We've photographed love stories from Mexico to the Rocky Mountains and beyond. We've also been ranked among the world's best wedding photographers, but what matters most to us is what our couples think. Our goal is to blow your mind with photos that make your mother-in-law cry and your best friends say "holy shit!" If you want wedding photos that aren't just wedding photos, you're in the right place.

Holy sh**. Excuse my language, but It is needed to make sure that those of you reading this understand how sincerly amazing Jay and Larissa are. We have used them to photograph us personally as a couple and have used them for a wedding of family friends; and newborn pictures of my Niece, Harper. Each and every experience and photo shoot and email and text and phone call with them has been perfectly professional, fun, and reasonable. The prices are great, the people are great- and the photos are freakin perfect. Unique and fun and different- but also traditional for those seeking that. Jay and Larrisa are an amazing couple and they take seriously great photos. We will be using them for the next niece who is soon to arrive, and for engagement and wedding photos in the upcoming years. PLEASE give them a call today- they are the best!!!!!

Hi! My names Marissa, and I have one of the coolest jobs around - hanging out with people on their wedding day! I love iced coffee and Jamie Fraser and spend my spare time reading or hanging out with my horse!

We had the best experience working with Marissa for our wedding! For one, she has an amazing personality - she is fun and lighthearted, so easygoing, AND also very responsible and on top of things (which I so appreciate)! For two, we had the unfortunate timing with COVID of having to postpone our wedding and our engagement shoot, and she made it super easy. She helped me many times in the planning process, from walking through the timeline, to picking out my bridesmaid dress color. Day of, she contributed so well to the fun vibe of the day, kept us on time and therefore not stressing out, and captured some AMAZING photos of us! She also captured so many awesome candids during our day, that looking back you can really see and remember how people felt, what the vibe of the day was, and the funny things that happened too (like when my friend spilled white wine on my dress and Marissa came to the rescue with napkins;)) Thank you so much Marissa!

I am passionate about the humanity and compassion I infuse into my work and making genuine connections with the people who choose me as a Photographer, Coordinator, or Officiant. I am inspired to create images that break down societal norms and show that all kinds of people and love are valid and beautiful. My style is modern, natural, romantic, whimsical, candid, and bold.

Where do we begin with Emily!? Honestly, from start to finish she made my wife and I feel so comfortable and supported. As a same sex couple we had had a few odd experiences reaching out to photographers and with Emily it was like night and day difference. She honestly made us feel so seen, not just as a couple, but as people. My wife is definitely not used to being the center of attention and Emily somehow captured our essences in every photo. We absolutely love her candids and her ability to capture the emotions of such a special day for us. We did an engagement shoot with her before our wedding as well and we couldn't be happier with how every single photo turned out. Even almost a year later, our wedding guests still comment on how incredible our pictures came out and that they were so much better than the "traditional" posed and staged photos, because she somehow captured us. I could go on and on, but for us, Emily felt like a member of the family and we couldn't have been happier about our experience with her. She kept us on schedule and answered questions for us along the way. Honestly, we can't think of anyone who would have been a better fit for us and for our wedding. Truly the best in the business - if you're looking for a photographer, hire her immediately!

My love for photography started at a young age in my small hometown outside of Pittsburgh. After being in public accounting for over four years, I eventually left to explore the creative fulfillment that photography has always given me. I knew immediately that being able to capture the love and joy between a couple for them to cherish for years to come, brought me the fulfillment I was searching for. As a photographer, I love natural light, authentic moments and adventurous souls. When not behind the camera, I’m forever a Harry Potter superfan and pasta addict. I’m always looking for new people and places to inspire me.

Alessandra photographed my sister in laws wedding and we knew we needed her contact information! We couldn’t be happier with working with Alessandra. She captured our entire wedding weekend with confidence, fun & positivity. She delivered our sneak peek photos within 2 days of our wedding and we were blown away. We can’t wait to see how our photos turned out, we know they will be amazing. 10/10 recommend Alessandra and for your wedding!

I'm a photographer who specializes in 35mm and medium format film photography. I also offer digital photography and am typically shooting both on a wedding day. My inspiration comes from organic moments, perfectly imperfect details, finding beauty in simplicity, and natural, modern and creative environments. I find that I thrive most when I get to work with couples who are so involved in the moment, they don’t care much about a wrinkle in their dress or a misplaced hair.

Once we got Marci on board, I felt immediately at ease about the wedding. I knew that, no matter what happened, no matter what details about the day wouldn't go perfectly, we would have great photos and the end of it all. She offered so much of herself before the actual date to check in with us and make sure we could talk about anything we wanted on the day. I love how everything she does feels intimate, natural, and captures the 2 people just as they are. I highly recommend booking Mars Takes Photos for your special day.
