Our mission is to provide more than just flowers- we create a unique, sustainable floral experience for your special day and beyond. Natural design is at the heart of our inspiration and creations. Allowing the seasons to guide us we create romantic, garden-inspired creations with a generous selection of flowers sourced from our own fields located in the hills of Litchfield County, CT., as well as other sustainably sourced blooms to bridge the gap. We use many potted herbs, plants, and even small trees and shrubs in our designs that allow your wedding day to last a lifetime, and serve as unique wedding gifts and reduce waste by over a third.

Fountainhead Floral Design

5.0

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Watertown, CT
  • Offer

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

Kate was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding! Her communication throughout the process was clear, understanding, and attentive, and she was always quick to respond. The quality of her work was truly professional, and the floral design was exactly what I had envisioned for our special day! She was also incredibly flexible, making last-minute changes to our order the month before the wedding without any issues. The setup and overall design was absolutely beautiful - especially our ceremony arch! I would highly recommend Fountainhead Floral Design to any couple looking for a reliable, talented, and customer-focused wedding florist!

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Watertown, CT

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets was a fantastic florist to work with for our wedding. They had a straightforward, welcoming, and responsive communication style that made the entire process easy and stress-free. Their floral designs were elegant, affordable, and fully customizable to our preferences. They created a beautiful customized bouquet for my wife's bridal flowers and an elegant arch for our wedding ceremony. They even made last-minute adjustments to ensure we had the best possible designs. All of this was provided at an amazing price, and they even gave us a discount for being a local wedding. We highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their big day.

I cannot begin to express the magic that Sara brought to our wedding day. Literally from the moment we discussed our vision, I knew Sara was going to deliver something incredible... but what she did was beyond my wildest dreams. Sara didn’t just provide flowers; she crafted this ethereal experience that surpassed every expectation. But it wasn’t just the flowers that made Sara exceptional. It was the personal touch, the unwavering commitment to making our day flawless, and the genuine passion that she poured into every aspect of her work. We connected from the first zoom call & I knew I needed her for not just my wedding but for every event I was hosting from that moment on. She's been responsible for my bridal shower, my wedding, my sisters baby shower & will be responsible for every future event I plan. First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.

We had such an awesome experience Rachel and the Flowerworks team for our wedding on 5/10/25. From the start, Rachel was very easy to work with and helped me articulate my vision to come up with the perfect floral design. Everything was executed perfectly from the gorgeous ceremony arch to the unique bridal bouquets I asked for. Tracy is amazing!!! Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning, and she made the whole process so easy and fun. She was incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, taking the time to really understand my vision, hopping on multiple calls, and even coming for a site visit. She brought my vision to life in a way that fit flawlessly with our overall design. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was about incorporating family heirlooms and relics, something that was a focal point in our wedding. She found the most beautiful ways to repurpose old vases, barrels, pots, and more into the arrangements, which made everything feel so personal and meaningful. Tracy was such a joy to work with. The flowers were gorgeous - our guests commented on them all night - and they lasted for over a week afterward, which made it even more special to keep enjoying them!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

As a little boy from Mexico, I spent countless hours helping my grandmother in her flower shop, where I first discovered the magic of design and the way flowers can tell a story. Boom & Bloom’s floral style is unapologetically abundant, artistic, and designed to make a statement.

Arturo has been with us since he was 18, and we have seen him grow in so many ways. He is extremely friendly and all of the guests always love him. He is dedicated and highly focused on the details, and that commitment shines through in both his team and his floral designs. We’ve worked with many florists and the property has never been adorned with so many beautiful and unique arrangements. For Agatha & Bartek’s wedding, the entire estate was filled with breathtaking flowers all weekend long. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding day and after day brunch. The tent was alive with vibrancy, and the way he incorporates flowers, even weaving them seamlessly with trees, is truly stunning. He is a true artist with an eye and vision to create something truly unique and special for each couple. We can’t wait to see what he does in the near future!

With support from my small team, we blend local blooms and curated market finds to create florals that are refined, textured, and personal. We embrace trends when they feel right but prioritize timeless designs you’ll love for years. We thrive with clients who value trust and collaboration—together, we bring your vision to life with care and creativity. I’m honest and thoughtful about guiding you to make the most of your flower budget—always with clarity and intention.

The second I stumbled upon Jakki’s work, I knew I had to work with her. I even joked that we’d have to change our wedding date if she wasn’t available that weekend! From our very first call, I was blown away by how deeply she understood our vision. Honestly, even better than we could articulate it ourselves. She walked us through what was in season and had such an incredible eye for detail. It was such a relief to work with someone we trusted so fully. Beyond florals, Jakki even referred us to a few of our other amazing vendors—she became someone whose opinion I truly valued throughout the planning process. When I walked into the venue on our wedding day, I was completely blown away. The flowers felt intentional, organic to the space, and truly elevated the entire atmosphere. It was like stepping into the dream version of our day. Hiring Jakki was hands down one of our favorite wedding decisions. She didn’t just bring our vision to life, she brought it together beyond anything we could have imagined.

My Secret Garden LLC is a boutique floral design and event styling studio based in Connecticut area (we travel too!). Our studio is run by Ulyana and Yuliya Lyalka, a sister duo. Ulya is the principal designer while Yuliya supports us in onsite events. Flowers are our love language and a medium with which we use to express emotions and celebrate meaningful life moments. In our studio, we harmonize rooted principles of floristry with a modern-day aesthetic that is both natural and playful.

Uly was incredible at picking out details that I wasn’t even aware I wanted lol. She put together the most glorious flowers and balloons I had imagined. Thank you Uly for bringing my vision to life. Sarah
