Constructed in 1932, this vintage barn oversees 12+ acres of native grasslands – a rich habitat for wildflowers, birds and butterflies – and a historic farmhouse built in the 1750s by a second-generation Quaker farmer. The property is also home to Pinelands Preservation Alliance, whose mission is to protect the natural resources, history and culture of this unique region. In 2017, the Alliance transformed the barn into a great gathering place. The recently completed renovation brings contemporary comfort and energy efficiency to a setting that still retains its authentic character. For weddings and private celebrations, the “big red barn” opens onto beautiful outdoor spaces for garden ceremonies and cocktails, while the interior is scaled for dinner and dancing for as many as 175 guests.

The Factory Workers is a 1920’s Movie Theater that has been converted into a one-of-a-kind wedding & event venue! Tom Marchetty, the owner of The Factory Workers Building has a family owned machinery repair business called Marchetty Machinery. Marchetty Machinery had been servicing industrial machinery in factories in the Philadelphia region since the early 1970’s. Slowly one by one these factories started closing up and going out of business due to overseas competition. So one-by-one the factories would call Marchetty Machinery and tell them that were closing up and if they had any use for the machinery they had been servicing for all those years. The machinery has been converted into tables and serving stations. From the original plaster architecture, tall ceilings, original oil canvas paintings incorporated with the industrial chic look from the machinery and several large communal dining tables, it is truly something you have never seen before and most see in person to appreciate!

The two spaces are separated by a moveable air wall. We can host a ceremony and cocktail hour in the restaurant and in Haas Biergarten right outside, and then open the wall to reveal a dining room space in the FringeArts theater. After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. Outside we have a bar that is operational May-October, lawn games, fire pits, and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge!
