“This is my second experience with Flower Moxie, and it was just as good if not better than the first time around. I did the flowers for my friends’ kids’ weddings and used Flower Moxie as our primary source, especially for the more unusual flowers. We used another source for some of the filler flowers that was very inexpensive (starts with a C and ends with an o…) and the flowers were inexpensive and plentiful, but not as exciting as the ones available here, the quality was not the same, but the biggest difference is the customer service. We had a few issues with the flowers (I think it would be surprising not to, based on how many and what kind we ordered), and Alexa, Luis, and Mariale were AMAZING with their immediate and helpful support. They rushed out replacements that were perfect, and worked with us to make sure we were 100% happy with everything. Huge shout out to their team - it is very stressful in the days leading up to the big event, and they took a big weight off. If you are unsure about what to get, I highly recommend going with their packages based on color — their recommendations for flowers and amounts are spot on. The videos showing you how to build everything are incredibly helpful and delightfully snarky. I highly recommend!!”

When I was shopping around, I talked to a lot of really amazing and talented florists, but Dana stood out because of her drive, professionalism, and her understanding of my vision. Of note, I was between DM Events and one other vendor for my florals (he was recommended by my venue) and when I had one of my calls with him, I was quoted almost three times the price that Dana had quoted me. When I mentioned that, this vendor told me that "if I could get it for less, go with the other vendor." He genuinely didn't believe that I could have gotten what I was looking for at a lower price point. My flower delivery the day of was timely, professional, and once again, totally seamless. “The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!”

In May of 2015, when I got married, we only had a week long engagement, so we collected bridal veil and lily of the valley from our gardens, and my mother cut lilacs from my grandmother's shrub. Every year, on our anniversary, our table is graced with the same flowers that I carried on my wedding day, and I have been enamored with the local flower movement ever since. We grow our flowers in harmony with nature. Our gardens are biodiverse, regenerative and naturally maintained. We design each arrangement in the spirit of mother nature; honored, collected and arranged by an artists' hand. We use sustainable techniques and no foam.

“10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a brilliant, hardworking, passionate, and creative florist. We met with Sarah throughout our planning process and she worked with us and our planner to understand and bring our vision to life. She clearly understood the assignment. Every detail was perfect. Everything she created was unique and matched exactly what we were looking for. By growing her own flowers, she has an intimate understanding of what will work best. She created an incredible arch out of branches and flowers, aisle meadows that got repurposed to center pieces, and a variety of centerpieces for our 21 tables. Each table had its own, unique look - some with raised meadows, some with a mix of candles and bud vases, and some with a vase of flowers and candles. Our head table had 28 people, and she made each place setting feel special. She works hard to be as sustainable as possible, sourcing and thrifting vessels from local shops and vendors, and drying and reusing flowers when possible. Everything she created was beautiful, including a big fall bouquet. She also created a totally custom ceiling installation that hung over the dance floor - an absolute show stopper that all of our guests loved, and that the venue thinks will inspire some of their future events. Also, I love that Blossom Bliss donates all remaining flowers (I believe they go to nursing homes and/or local hospitals if I'm remembering correctly). Knowing that the flowers were going to put a smile on someone else's face, rather than get thrown away after the wedding, brought a lot of joy.
