We were also very nervous about having photos taken and she did a wonderful job at putting us at ease and helping us with poses. “Do yourself a favor and hire Ashley for your wedding, event, family photos, etc. - she is absolutely AMAZING!! We hired her for our June wedding and it was the best money we spent, hands down. Everything from coordinating our engagement shoot to planning the shots we wanted at the wedding was seamless. Ashley is not just a wedding photographer; she is a true artist and has an incredible talent for styling shoots on the fly, troubleshooting in challenging environments, and making everyone feel SO comfortable. One of my main concerns with our photos was that we would look stiff - with Ashley that was not an issue. She had us laughing and feeling so relaxed from the very beginning. On our wedding day, Ashley was extremely efficient and worked around our desire to have the first look at the ceremony, while also somehow getting all the shots we wanted plus a lot more. We even made the last 15 minutes of our cocktail party! “From our first call, I knew Ali was the photographer we needed (seriously think we booked within 24 hours). We immediately felt comfortable with her as if we were talking to a friend and, as two people who tend to be awkward in front of a camera, this went a long way. During our engagement shoot, she helped find poses that worked naturally, made us laugh during the cheesy shots that turned into our favorite pictures, and brought my Pinterest dreams to life (we had the same pics pinned so it was meant to be). Not to mention she was even sweeter in person. On our wedding day Ali jumped straight into it seamlessly. She’s easy to be around and brings a calming presence no matter what’s going on around her (calling her the calm in the storm would be an understatement). She captured every moment perfectly and had our best interest at her forefront the entire day. She even found excuses to give me a pause if she noticed I was getting nervous or seemed overwhelmed (I never told her I noticed she did that for me but it was so appreciated). After the ceremony, she knew exactly how to wrangle in our families and wedding party, and somehow managed to capture the best photos in record-breaking time. This is getting long so I’ll wrap it up, but if you’re anything like me and you’re indecisive or worried about making the right vendor choices, trust that you won’t regret this one. I could go on and on but, long story short, we’ll be forever grateful we chose Ali!!”

“Working with Megan and her husband for our engagement session was such a lovely experience. It was our first time being professionally photographed ever and we were expecting to feel super awkward. But it turned out to be a perfectly tolerable and even enjoyable few hours. We were given enough instruction to help some poses look better, but not so much that we couldn’t feel comfortable to be ourselves or settle into what felt natural — especially since most of the session was in our home. We were given a few Polaroid sneak pics on the day of that’ll attach. Megan has a great eye for detail and we can’t wait to work together again at our wedding!”
