Even though I've a large amount of experience putting on big events, since this was my wedding day, I was quite anxious. Mark and his helpers arrived early. He immediately asked me how we wanted everything done and then executed my vision perfectly—the setup was flawless, the food was wonderful, and they cleaned up completely without us having to lift a finger. What impressed us most was how seamlessly they worked with all the other vendors to make sure everything came together. Mark is clearly experienced. I felt so taken care of and could actually enjoy our wedding and reception instead of worrying about the details. We'd absolutely recommend Affordable Chef Services. The venue does not have a kitchen, which is obviously a challenge for any caterer - Dee set up a full mobile outdoor kitchen on-site and the food was absolutely incredible. She never skimped on quality and sourced ingredients locally. We served dinner plated style offering a white fish or short rib - both were exceptional. She was incredibly responsive throughout, and went above and beyond as a planner-caterer hybrid. She even did my florals, which were stunning. She has great taste, and she became a trusted advisor throughout my planning process. I truly couldn't have done it without her! It came with three types of meats(Steak, chicken, shrimp) with their delicious perfectly cooked vegetables and fried rice…. AMAZING!!! I also rented their dessert cart for my desserts.
