The process of using something borrowed blooms was so easy. I loved that the flowers could be reused and that I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would just be thrown away! They included the return label in the box with the flowers they shipped out, which was great because we did not have a printer at our destination wedding. All of our flowers were fake because I was also worried about the heat wilting our flowers. I only rented bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and a dog collar- but I wish I had rented my centerpieces as well! Amazing experience with SBB all around!

Flower Duet
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Torrance, CA

Sisters Casey (Coleman) Schwartz and Kit (Coleman) Wertz began their floral design business in 1999. We started Flower Duet as a part-time weekend business after Casey had retired from designing flowers on luxury cruise ships around the world (see Casey’s biography below) and Kit had immersed herself in floral design courses for a few years. We love creating custom wedding flowers for all types of brides and grooms, directing corporate team-building reward events for companies like Brighton and Ernst & Young and teaching flower arranging to budding floral designers and the dedicated floral enthusiast.

Casey & Kit are the real deal. Always creative, inventive, professional, and collaborative, it's a pleasure to work with them on a wedding. My clients & I especially love going on the Flower Mart tour with them. We always learn a lot and it's a very fun part of the design process! I recommend Flower Duet wholeheartedly!

    Akiko's Floral Design
    Rating: 5.0 (15 reviews)
    • Starts at $3,000
    • Serves Torrance, CA

I am a home-based florist in Rancho Palos Verdes, California who creates everything from wonderful personal bouquets to elaborate wedding designs. My core business belief is to develop a personal relationship with each of my customers, so that I can provide the highest-quality floral arrangements that fit within my customer's budget.

    Awarded Best of Zola
Akiko has been creating beautiful floral arrangements for my husband’s family for years. She was the florist behind every bouquet my late father-in-law gave my mother-in-law—whether it was for anniversaries, birthdays, or simply because. During our years of dating, my (now) husband also surprised me with countless gorgeous arrangements from Akiko. Because of the special place her flowers have held in our lives, there was never a question about who we wanted to create the florals for our wedding. From the very beginning, Akiko was an absolute dream to work with. She communicated clearly throughout the entire process, helped guide me on which flowers and greenery would best bring my vision to life, and even recommended alternatives that would hold up beautifully in the July heat. I gave her very minimal inspiration, yet she somehow understood exactly what I envisioned. She created the most stunning ceremony bouquet, gorgeous reception florals, and even made a boutonnière for my late father-in-law, whose blazer we displayed on a reserved seat in his honor during our reception. That thoughtful detail meant so much to our family. Everything was delivered right on time and was absolutely perfect. My bridal bouquet stayed beautiful through the two-hour drive from Torrance to Santa Barbara, looked flawless throughout the entire day, and continued to look incredible for several days after our ceremony. Our reception flowers added the perfect pop of color and tied all of our décor together in a way that exceeded every expectation. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but having Akiko as one of our vendors made everything feel effortless. Her talent, professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail are truly unmatched. We are beyond grateful for everything she created for us, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Akiko, for creating flowers that have been part of our family’s most cherished memories for years—and for making our wedding day even more beautiful than we ever imagined.

I had the pleasure of working with Rebel Creative for two weddings this year, first for a Nikki and Ryan's desert wedding on May 31 at Morada in Joshua Tree, and later for Laura and Michael’s garden party wedding on September 27th at Shady Canyon Golf Club. Their florals are absolutely stunning and truly elevate every setting they touch. At Morada, their arrangements provided the perfect elegant and natural backdrop, perfectly suited to the unique desert landscape. Nikki's bouquet and Ryan’s boutonniere were the stars of the day, beautifully crafted and unforgettable. They presented a gorgeous floral proposal that truly wowed the couple and worked with their overall design, vibe and budget. At Shady Canyon, Rebel Creative created a breathtaking ground arch for the ceremony, paired with jaw-dropping table arrangements and whimsical bridal bouquets. Every arrangement was thoughtfully designed and added an incredible touch of sophistication and beauty to the day. Sami and Christina such sweet souls who went above and beyond for this wedding day. Hi there! I’m Isabel — owner and lead designer at Your Wedding Florist ✦. My love for flowers began at age five, wandering through my grandmother’s garden and admiring every bloom. Designing florals today feels like a lifelong dream fulfilled and a meaningful way to stay connected to her. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to share that passion with you and to create elegant, thoughtfully crafted florals for your wedding day.

I am extremely happy with how the florals turned out for our wedding this past June! I imagined beautiful, colorful wildflower bouquets and arrangements and Isabel definitely delivered. From my inspo pics and a short description of what I wanted, Isabel was able to curate and send me a visual palette of the flowers and colors she was going to incorporate into the arrangements. They were all perfect choices and looked amazing the day of. I also specifically wanted green bud vases for the table settings and she ordered the cutest set. All of my guests loved them. She made executive decisions on the wedding day when our flowers were in the sun and we couldn’t have been happier. Above all, she is so kind and a joy to work with. Follow her on IG - she can truly do anything and books up quickly! We can’t wait to work with her again for future events!

As a fine artist, I've always been drawn to the medium of flowers. Not only do they allow me to connect with nature, they allow me to connect with people by bringing an ineffable magic to clients' events. Since founding this studio in 2017, I've been so honored to work alongside my team as we bring florals to the most special moments in life.

Kira is an artist first and foremost. My vision was earthy/midsommar and Kira delivered. She was so great with working in my budget which is so scary when it comes to flowers. The flowers came out so beautifully. I made everything white and ivory and told her I was leaning on her for all the color and she made it happen. I cried when I saw my Chuppah for the first time. The centerpieces were so beautiful people were fighting to take them home. Thank you so much Kira. I absolutely LOVED everything you made for my wedding

From the moment I walked into our wedding venue, I was absolutely stunned by the beauty of Gabrielle's floral designs. She knew exactly what we wanted, and executed our vision perfectly - even beyond our expectations. Truly incredible, brilliant artistic work. Everyone commented on how lovely the florals were. It felt like a magical, mystical, wildflower heaven - while still being classic and elegant. My bouquet blew me away. Gabrielle was so easy to work with. We cannot recommend her enough!

Meg provided the flowers for our wedding last month and they were absolute stunners. From the very beginning, Meg was receptive and delightful to work with. We wanted vibrant colors, and arrangements that evoked still life art pieces. For our arch we wanted something that was bright, not overly manicured, and abundant with flowers. Above all, we wanted floral arrangements that complimented/enhanced the beauty of our wedding venue. We had a consultation session where we shared general ideas and descriptions of our vision for the wedding, along with any pinterest pictures we had saved. In her proposal Meg captured a lot of our vision and provided us a comprehensive cost breakdown for each item that we wanted. We were also able to visit her studio to take a look at vases, candles, and other items to accompany our arrangements. We also scheduled a mock-up consultation to get an idea of what the centerpiece arrangements would look like. When I saw the mock centerpiece for the first time, I was floored. She perfectly captured the vision and it truly looked like a piece of art. I distinctly remember her asking if I had any feedback of things I liked, disliked, or would like to change, and I told her that it was perfect as is. For the day of the wedding, all of the flowers were a dream come true and she perfectly captured what we wanted. I could not help but stare at the arch throughout parts of my own ceremony because it was so mesmerizing and beautiful! As for my and my spouse's bouquets, we were in love with how they complimented one another and also captured the full, vibrant color scheme we sought in our florals. So many of our guests were also enamored with the arch and the centerpieces - in fact, most, if not all, of the centerpieces were taken home by our guests. I wish I was able to take a centerpiece home but given that we were flying out for our honeymoon, it meant the world to know that the flowers were so well loved and appreciated by our guests. Throughout this entire experience Meg was super helpful, honest, insightful, and kind. We feel so lucky to have worked with her. She really made our wedding such a beautiful experience (literally and figuratively)!

I’m Janice Pearson, Founder and Creative Director of Pearson Floral Designs, a Los Angeles–based wedding florist specializing in custom, design-driven wedding flowers. My background in cinematography taught me how color, composition, and detail shape emotion and memory—principles I bring to every floral design. I create intentional florals for wedding ceremonies and receptions that feel personal, refined, and emotionally resonant. Each event is approached thoughtfully, with designs tailored to the couple, the venue, and the experience they want their guests to remember.

I used Pearson Floral Design for my husband's Celebration of Life at our church recently. My only request was the color blue; she delivered and exceeded my expectations. She did a large arrangement for the church and ten tabletop arrangements for the reception that followed in fellowship hall. The mortuary had provided a large heart shaped floral arrangement that was losing petals and looking motley, Janice took the initiative and repaired this arrangement at no extra cost. It was easy to communicate with Janice; the floral arraignments were in place at the church when I got there at an agreed upon time and were beautiful. At a stressful time in my life, Pearson Floral was easy to work with.
