As You Like It Events & Catering

“First of all my Husband and I wanted our guests to be comfortable and enjoy good food and vibes and Rachel and Phyllis made that happen. They offered great food choices to which we went with food stations... my Aunt is still talking about the mac and cheese station. We tasted quite a few and you can not go wrong with any of them. My Husband is a trained chef and he was so excited about how good everything was. I mean, delicious. In honor of my Dad they also created a ice cream sandwhich station, letting me pick all the choices I wanted. I am so grateful. We got married at The California Botanical Garden in Claremont. We chose our ceremony at the California court yard and our reception at the Lewis family forest pavilion. It was perfect. Rachel and Phyllis let us walk the venue as often as needed/wanted. They worked beautifully with our vendors and our family and friends who were helping with some set up. The whole time Rachel helped me, even when she did not need to. All the way to the point that she held up the back of my dress as we were leaving so it did not get dirty. It ended up raining on my wedding night and the team got all of us covered and my guest were able to sit and be dry and enjoy all the food stations. Miracle workers. In planning they were excellent too, all the colors and different ideas of plates, napkins, etc. They helped me plan it out so well. Thank you Rachel and Phyllis, anyone would be in good hands with you two and your team.”

“Great staff the owner is so friendly and they are very responses to calls and e-mails. I went to their location and did a tasting which was some of the best Mexican food I have had. They did all the table and linen rentals for my wedding. They made it easy and beautiful. I got so many compliments on all of the food (especially the shrimp ceviche appetizer). The only complaint is they ran out of ice cream for the churros. I would 100% use them again for another event.”

“We had above all cater our sons wedding. I wish I could give them another 10 stars. First of all the staff made sure the Bride, Groom and wedding party had food and drinks while they were taking their photos after the ceremony. Something that didn't even occur to me. The staff was friendly and polite and very attentive to all the guests needs. The passed appetizers were amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. Not your typical wedding food. They all started with “usually wedding food isn’t great, but ALL of the food has been so good.” ALSO, when we sat down for dinner Felicia brought us a plate of apps because we were too busy during cocktail hour to have any and she wanted to make sure we got some too. After interviewing a handful of companies, we decided to go with the team at Krafted Culture. From the beginning Chef Cooper was attentive to our vision, and our budget. He helped guide us along the path from beginning to our wedding day. Chef Cooper was always punctual, reliable, respectful and honest. He truly had our best interests at heart. At our tasting, we knew we had made the right choice. The food was phenomenal. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the entire layout of our wedding changed 4 days prior to the big day. We met on multiple occasions even at the venue to discuss vision, setup and menu. They were helpful and provided amazing food (the best Peruvian food in California and possible the entire US in my opinion). Their food has a homemade taste to it but also has an elevated feel to it. They even cooked all the food onsite in their food truck on our wedding day which made the food so fresh. They also handled setup, serving and take down.
