Roses & Acorns Creekside Weddings is venue only rental located at Camp Nauvoo near Placerville, California offers all the natural beauty of the outdoors while keeping the convenience of an onsite lodge, kitchen and restroom facilities for weddings & receptions. We are located on year-round Weber Creek. We have an idyllic meadow featuring an amish gazebo and various arbors. We have a bridal room, lodge with cozy fireplace with AC/heat, large commercial kitchen, restroom and showers with flush toilets, wedding tables and chairs for up to 125 guests (50 cars) . We offer camping weddings including glamping tents, teepees, cabin tents, camp fire bowl, volleyball/ basketball courts. Our philosophy is to provide an affordable wedding venue that allows the bride to customize to her dream wedding. We offer limited availability in the spring and fall. Our specialty is camping weddings also in summer. We are a venue rental but have lots of vendor options available. May 1 - October 30th each year.

My new husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Lake Natoma Inn as the venue for our wedding. The communication with their team was superb and responsive every step of the way as we planned our big day. The inn itself provided a gloriously beautiful and welcoming backdrop for our ceremony and reception. From the rehearsal dinner that went off without a hitch to the gorgeous floral arrangements and delicious cuisine, it was evident how much care and attention they put into ensuring a seamless event. The entire wedding team and hotel staff were consummate professionals who still made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to actualize our vision and make every last detail perfect. We are so grateful we chose this venue to host the most magical day of our lives!

Can’t put into words how great our experience with The Chalet Event Center went throughout our entire wedding planning process! They went above and beyond to walk us through what our big day would look like on the property- from ceremony to reception, they executed our vision and made our dream wedding a night to remember. Bosue, you are an amazing host and thank you for helping us have our dream wedding. Not only did you fulfill all of our wishes, you really came through for us when there was going to be a 59% chance of rain. Most brides have so much on their mind, but you reassured me that there would be a back up plan incase of bad weather (something I failed to think of). It’s the little things like this, that I take away from working with a business. They remember the things we may forget! It’s all in the details! The food was amazing on our wedding night, the kitchen killed it! The bar staff were so friendly, welcoming and helped keep our guests happy! The on site staff, Bosue and Roberto ensured our day went smoothly (timing, everything was set up correctly, and guests were attended to when they needed something). I could go on and on, but my favorite thing was that Bosue had the best communication. Throughout all of my planning, he really accommodated all of my requests and was always available from May 2024 (planning stages) to our big day 10/25/2025. The Chalet is a beautiful place to host an event, whether an outdoor ceremony or inside reception- they truly went above and beyond to make our day special. And with that being said, I highly recommend this event space and the staff here. The communication with the staff, especially Keilah, Savanna, and Nathalie, was superb - they were always willing to help and very approachable. The venue itself had an elegant, spacious, and calm aura that was great value for the cost. The food prepared by Jeremy and his crew was excellent, and the open bar was overflowing, providing great service throughout the night. The DJs kept the dance floor lively, and the photobooth was a fun addition. The security was also courteous, ensuring our special day went off without a hitch. We were thrilled with our wedding venue at Elks Tower Events. Throughout the planning process, Sabrina and her team were extremely responsive, answering all our questions promptly and helping guide us through decisions with their expertise. On the big day everything came together beautifully - the ballroom looked gorgeous with the lighting and decor, and all the behind-the-scenes coordination went off without a hitch so my husband and I could relax and enjoy celebrating with our guests. Having the catering and day-of coordination included in the venue package was such a help. Our wedding was going to be on the smaller side but I still wanted it to be more special than just taking place in a hotel conference room. This was a completely DIY wedding, which I was personally funding, and I was doing my best to keep costs under control without compromising quality. After doing countless hours of research online about weddings and venues, it seemed everything would come with a huge price tag - far beyond my budget. I was worried that the challenges I was facing would be insurmountable and I'd have to settle for less than what I'd dreamed of. I knew I wanted to hold it at a winery, preferably one with beautiful views and perhaps a water feature. Clarksburg, being only 15 minutes from my house, was the region I wanted to explore. After visiting two other wineries in the area - one of which had a less than ideal location and poor customer service, and the other that was nice but WAY out of my price range for a 60-person guestlist - my final visit was to Julietta Winery. One of the owners, Julie, gave us the tour and we were immediately grateful for her attentiveness and input. When she showed us the back barn by the slough, I knew this could be the perfect venue! It was private, had separate but adjacent areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, plenty of nearby private parking, loads of charm, and was absolutely gorgeous. It was somewhat of a blank slate, but had special features like chandeliers in the barn and fountains throughout the grounds, and with a few added touches it could certainly be a creative bride's dream. Her suggestions, examples and expertise solidified that conclusion. After seeing the private ceremony site, the reception area and the bridal suite, we were invited back to the main building for a tasting. Unlike the other venues we had visited, all of the wines were equally delicious, further settling the decision to get married there. I even joined the wine club that day. Another thing that set Julietta Winery apart was that they allowed me to bring in my own vendors. A lot of places won't do this. Since I was putting 100% of my effort into making this a wonderful event, it was helpful to have this leeway and I was able to choose my DJ, musicians, photographer, "day of coordinator", transportation, baker and caterer. Julie and her staff were so accommodating, and Julie even took on the task of being an additional "day of" coordinator and "calmer of nerves". The wedding turned out to be everything I could have hoped for and more, and every single guest was amazed by the beautiful venue, the quality wine and the service received. It was perfect in every single way. I just wish I could share pictures with this review. We're so grateful to Julietta Winery!

To begin describing the experience we had at Del Oro Valley is difficult to do! Because it was SO amazing. We had our wedding venue cancel on us 6 months before our wedding and it was an emotionally deflating experience. However we didn’t realize at the time it was a gift that landed us at the most magical venue full of people more aligned with everything we love and stand for. Del Oro valley saved our wedding and provided us with more than we could have ever asked for. They went above and beyond to provide us with a peak experience I’m certain we couldn’t have achieved elsewhere. They helped us produce a talent show at, provided camp counselors for games and community activation, provided a place with incredible sound for us to dance all night, catered delicious food for 110 people, and gave us lasting memories. This venue has it all. Gorgeous mountain outlooks at the amphitheater for our ceremony and a candlelit patio dinner. An A-frame cabin decked out with lights and an excellent sound system for dancing. There’s a huge pool at main camp near lodging for folks to relax at during the day, and lodging onsite for all your people to stay and connect over the weekend. Couldn’t recommend this venue more. Thank you Del Oro Valley for sharing one of the most memorable weekends with us!

The Winchester Estate by Wedgewood Weddings was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew it was the perfect place for our fairytale wedding. The ivy-covered walls, romantic ambiance, and stunning grounds made us feel like we were living inside a storybook. Every detail was beyond what we imagined. Taylor, our coordinator, was incredible from the very start. She kept in constant contact, answered every question, and somehow managed to think of things we didn’t even know we needed. She made us feel so heard and cared for every step of the way, and she even ensured that allergies and personal preferences were handled thoughtfully and seamlessly. When Ben took over on the day of the wedding, everything flowed effortlessly. He kept the timeline running smoothly while making sure we could just enjoy the moment. And then there was Drew — our amazing DJ — who truly brought the party to life. He made our music feel personal, got everyone dancing, and even joined in on the fun himself! He somehow managed to keep the little ones entertained (and contained!) when their lightsaber battle got a bit too enthusiastic — a true hero of the night! The entire staff went above and beyond, dancing along with us, smiling, and adding to the energy of the celebration. It never felt like they were just working an event — they were part of it. Their joy matched ours, and that made the night even more unforgettable. Our wedding at Winchester Estate was everything we dreamed of and more. It was magical, effortless, and filled with love and laughter. We’ll cherish it forever!

From start to finish, the sales team and the food and beverage catering team was amazing. Erika from sales helped us plan and pay for our wedding and she was very attentive and explained everything in full detail.
