“We have nothing but incredible things to say about Rue Chow! They catered our wedding, which was reception/cocktail style and included a giant charcuterie board to welcome guests, heavy passed hors d'oeuvres, their fresh beignet service, and a late night snack. Rachel was a joy to work with, and her grounded, calm energy was a welcome addition to the planning process and wedding day. She was so patient with my many late night text messages, and had invaluable suggestions when nailing down the wedding day timeline. She was very transparent about pricing and consciousness of the extreme costs involved with throwing a wedding, and, without our asking, went out of her way to save us money wherever she could. When deciding on the menu, she guided us through creating a diverse selection that would accommodate our guests' extremely varied palettes, and also included vegetarian substitutions for almost everything upon our request. She even kindly offered to learn one of our family's recipes and master a new dish her staff had never cooked before. Everything they served was delicious, there was plenty of food and different options for everyone, and even my local New Orleans family was impressed. The food was hot, prompt, and plentiful. Having the food truck parked outside was fun, and allowed hungry guests or those with specific dietary restrictions the option to order their own food directly from the truck's kitchen. The beignet service was the perfect addition to our cake cutting, and the beignets themselves were bite sized and not messy. The grits were divine, and the custom vegetarian pasta they created was drool worthy. Our late night snack was a classic cheeseburger and truffle parmesan fries, and everyone we've talked to has had a different favorite dish. The whole menu was a hit! The service staff was also so kind and attentive — they were mindful of making sure we as the bride and groom were offered food frequently. They even jumped in when I realized I'd failed to purchase plates and forks for the cake cutting, and provided some from their own stock. We loved Rue Chow, and wish we could eat everything again! Our only regret is the wedding day was so busy we didn't get to properly say thank you to Rachel. We feel so lucky we found Rue Chow for our wedding!”
