Nailah Browne, a native of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, first became interested in baking from her grandmother, who had a side business. Browne later completed the bakery program at Manatee Technical College. Browne and Selene Martinez met and became friends at IMG Academy, where Browne was the head baker and that's how StackD Cake Studio was born. At Stack’d Cake Studio, the customer directs how they want their cake built, from cake and size, to flavor of buttercream, filling and toppings.

While nursing is my true passion, baking is my solace. Angelina Bakes started during the height of the covid pandemic. I was working as a mental health nurse, but when I was home, I felt unfulfilled, overworked, and burnt out.
