The property is set on 60 acres of picturesque farmland, adding to its charming, rustic atmosphere. One of the unique features of Bella Terra, is the two fully furnished apartments available for overnight accommodations for up to 12 guests. Whether the couple is looking for an outdoor ceremony surrounded by trees and open fields or a covered outdoor ceremony space, Fields at Skycrest has you covered. The indoor climate controlled reception space that can accommodate 300 guests is light and airy and includes everything from a beautiful fireplace, to a grand metal staircase, to clear doors that can be opened to the large outdoor patio. Couples have the ability to get dressed on site in beautifully appointed suites where every detail has been considered for comfort of guests and vendors alike. All rentals like tables, chairs, and linens are included in the booking fee. Additionally, floral services can be provided as well. The Crawford Farm is in a country setting and unlike any space in Statesville! 10,000sf of indoor climate-controlled space with a comfortable mountain lodge feel. Elegant lighting, majestic cedar trees, 3 exquisite rock fireplaces, tongue, and grooved wood ceilings, beautifully done concrete tables, and floors make up this wonderful relaxed atmosphere.

Surrounded by beautiful secluded woodlands, The Cabin at Old Spur is an affordable outdoor wedding and event venue situated in a beautiful secluded country setting. We have gorgeous picturesque views of the forest and large pond. The Cabin at Old Spur provides a respite from the hustle of towns and cities, and is an ideal location for a quiet rustic outdoor wedding. We offer full service options or you may simply rent the space. Enjoy your entire celebration centered around our beautiful pond hidden in the woods! Foxtail Lake has a beautiful view of the sunset and also accomodates 200.

In the year of 1762, Mr. Newberry and Mr. Thames purchased the land from Mr. Gray. In the deed, there was mention of a sawmill and grist mill on the place, but no mention of a house. In 1833 Mr. Byrne purchased the land from Mr. Newberry. At this time the house and store were on the land. Later on Mr. Byrne sold the land, and it change hands several times..." The house served as a mill home, store, and the Gray's Creek post office for many years.

The Cotton Press offers a variety of services from equipment rental, staffing services and event planning. We do not provide food or drink but allow you to select your choice of approved vendors.
