“Sophie was a light during all of our interactions with one another! From the beginning with negotiations, to the final products, she was always attentive and so so easy to work with! When we first reached out, I had a million and one questions (frazzled bride haha) and she was so patient with me! On top of that, she was so accommodating! There were things that I would ask for that she may not have had access to immediately (i.e. a drone, 2nd shooter, etc.) And she would admit to not having these things, but no less than an hour after our correspondence, she would come to me beaming saying "We have a drone now!! We have a second shooter!!" She was always willing to do whatever it took to get the job done, and I absolutely loved that! Her attention to detail during the wedding meant the world to me and my now-husband - he can be a bit shy, but Sophie and her co-shooter Tim were so patient and kind! They got all the shots that we wanted and then some! Our final products were amazing - my favorite part was how receptive Sophie was to feedback! In the end, everything she produced was breathtaking, and boy did we shed a ton of tears while watching! Open and honest throughout the process especially if delays were to be had, we got all of our products in a beyond reasonable time, and now we have a keepsake to remember our wedding for days to come. I cannot recommend Sophie (and Tim!) enough. How lucky we were to have them be a part of our day 3”

“What initially drew us to his wedding package was the comprehensive nature of his offerings, all for one package price. This included everything from a drone (though we couldn’t use it due to rain… bummer), GoPro video from the day from various angles, fun lighting for the reception, and projection and recording of our vows, among other things. We loved that he offered some complimentary video services especially since we did not have a videographer. From our initial meeting, Michael made us feel comfortable and made the planning process super easy. The app that he uses to capture all of the information and song selections was easy and intuitive to use, allowing us to add details and songs throughout the the planning process. Michael was super flexible with the ceremony arrangements, accommodating our decision to hold the ceremony outside even though it was drizzling. He kept everyone MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’ on the dance floor, and many guests commented that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. He even let me (the bride) mix a song as the DJ, and even though I had no idea what I was doing, it made for some fun and memorable photos. We opted to rent his photo booth (which was an additional fee outside of his package… but SO worth it!), and it was a huge hit with our guests. The props he brought were unique and fun, and there was a line at the photo booth for most of the evening because everyone wanted in on the action. Michael really knocked it out of the park for us, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. We highly recommend him for DJ services!”

“Meg and Julianne were absolute angels about helping us pull off a very DIY backyard wedding! Everything from keeping track of our timeline to ensuring we stayed fed and caffeinated to providing equipment and finishing touches to the decor. “My husband and I frequently find ourselves looking at each other and exclaiming, “we had the perfect wedding.” And we did, it was perfect in every way we could have imagined. I’m certain that we wouldn’t be able to say that if we hadn’t worked with MB Events. For context, I didn’t want a wedding. I wanted to elope because it would be easy and I just wanted to be married, but my husband encouraged me to consider an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family on his parents’ property. He also insisted on getting a wedding planner to make this as stress-free as possible for both of us. We talked to several wedding planners, but when we got off the phone with Marissa from MB Events, I immediately said “she’s the one.” Marissa was the only planner we talked to who asked about our story, our families, and our feelings right off the bat. She listened to us and gave us frank, honest advice about planning a “backyard wedding” (spoiler: it takes a village). I was truly starry-eyed while talking to her because she is the epitome of calm confidence. Now, this land needed some serious TLC… I remember when MB Events first came to look at the property, it was hard for any of us to imagine how we could turn it into our wedding venue, but Marissa saw through the wild overgrowth and created the loveliest vision that we never would have thought of without her help. It was the spark that motivated us to make this work. We didn’t really know what we wanted this wedding to look like, only some vague ideas: warm and whimsical, like a garden party with lots of light and color. We shared Pinterest boards with a wild mix of inspiration, and she was able to sift through all our ideas to nail down a theme that considered who we are as individuals and as a couple. Planning a wedding on family land requires a lot more thought and effort than a wedding at a venue. You need to consider things like bathroom trailers, weather protection, parking, and countless other things that were not even close to the front of our minds. MB Events thought of everything – this was clearly not their first rodeo. Marissa put together floor plans, mood boards, and schedules detailed down to the minute. She held our hands through every step of the process, kept in contact via call and text, and sent us reminders to be sure that nothing was forgotten. We took all her recommendations without question, including her vendor recs (which are top tier, btw), and I’m so glad we did. There are no words to adequately capture how incredible our wedding turned out to be. It all came together seamlessly, and we’ve been so humbled by the number of compliments we’ve received from our guests. But the best part for us was not having to worry about a single thing the entire wedding day. Knowing MB Events had everything handled gave us the peace of mind to be fully present (especially on the dance floor), and that is a gift that we will be forever grateful to them for. It’s priceless. At the end of the night, we exchanged tearful goodbyes; it feels like we’ve known them for ages instead of a year. It’s so obvious that they love what they do. Their love, care, and authenticity radiates. We cannot recommend MB Events enough; we can say confidently that our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and considering one of us didn’t want a wedding in the first place, we think that’s saying something. 10/10 would renew our vows just to do it all over again.”
