  • Starts at $250
  • Serves St. George, SC

Bird's Nest Florist has been in business for over 25 years. We offer fresh florals, silk florals, and have a gift store with many local artists. We enjoy the different, not your everyday, unique designs we get to create.

Gorgeous wedding flowers accentuated the outdoor, early afternoon wedding on the Edisto River. Each piece was handcrafted to take your breath away! From my Bridal bouquet, Matron of Honer bouquet, Gentlemen’s boutonnieres, wrist corsages and center pieces you could not help but comment the beauty, elegance and quality of all arrangements. I loved their creative sense in letting them choose what would match the tone of simple, stunning and beautiful for our once in a lifetime celebration of love.

The Petal Bar
Rating: 5.0 (13 reviews)
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves St. George, SC

Ever since I did the florals for my own wedding in May 2021, I fell in love with the beauty that flowers hold. The Petal Bar exists to bring beautiful flowers to your biggest day. All the way up until your wedding day, I want to be your friend and your advocate as I come alongside your vision to create a beautiful day!

Working with The Petal Bar and Hope was a dream for our wedding day. From the very first phone call, Hope was prompt, easy, and efficient in her communication style. She listened to my vision and ideas, and then used her expertise to create the most beautiful, whimsical, and thoughtful floral arrangements. Hope was so easy to work with - we had both phone and in-person consults, and she was incredibly accommodating of my budget and last-minute changes. On the wedding day, Hope dropped off my bouquets at my location and had everything set up and broken down in time. I would absolutely recommend working with The Petal Bar - Hope's work is gorgeous, and she made our special day exactly what we wanted.

My name is Jordy, and I am the owner of Pinewood and Petals! I grew up in Summerville, SC where P&P is established. I'm actually a full time marine biologist, and have always wanted to be a marine biologist since I was a kid. Sharks are my favorite animals - I have always been infatuated with them. I began making wood flowers for my own wedding, where I made all of my bouquets and flower arrangements. I wanted something unique, affordable, and gorgeous that told a story. A story that I could stand behind and which aligns with my career Mission and goals. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and a Sustainable, eco friendly option to flowers 🐬🌊🦈❤️

From our first call, her communication was quick, personable, and she was clearly excited to help bring our vision to life. The final product was pristine, elegant, and simply stunning - the bouquets, centerpieces, and flowers on our cake were all breathtaking. The flowers were the perfect complement to our special day, and we received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful everything looked. We couldn't have asked for a better florist, and would highly recommend Pinewood and Petals to any couple planning their wedding.

Pretty Petals Of Charleston
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Serves St. George, SC

Owner, Janice Clayton, and her team of designers at Pretty Petals are artists and strive to push the boundaries and defy the trends to help you create a truly unique event. Pretty Petals couples appreciate our original designs, and are excited to see their love expressed throughout our style. My love for weddings started the morning of July 29th, 1981 when Lady Diana stepped out of her fairytale glass carriage, carrying an elaborate, cascading bridal bouquet. I had never seen anything so beautiful, and to this day, I remember every detail down to trailing ivy.

Working with Pretty Petals of Charleston was straightforward from start to finish. The team listened to what we wanted and adapted their designs to fit our vision perfectly. Our chandelier arrangement was absolutely stunning—simple yet elegant in a way that felt exactly right for our wedding. They made the whole process easy, which meant we could focus on enjoying our day instead of stressing about flowers. We appreciated how they took our feedback seriously and incorporated it into every detail. Pretty Petals of Charleston definitely made our wedding day smoother, and we couldn't be happier with their work.

Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves St. George, SC

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers was a fantastic experience. Their communication style was encouraging, clear and direct, and consistently positive throughout the process. The quality of their work and value provided was exceptional - the flowers we received were absolutely gorgeous, and their helpful tutorials made it easy for us to prepare everything for the wedding. My daughter loved her beautiful wedding bouquet and the way all the centerpieces for the reception turned out. We did have a few minor glitches with the delivery, but Alexa was *so* responsive and helpful, providing tracking information and overnighting replacement flowers when the colors weren't what we expected. Her fast response time and practical support made the whole experience really positive. We're very grateful for the value and care we received from Flower Moxie!

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I’m so glad we went with the Faux Bouquets for our wedding florals. Everything was beautiful and nobody believed me when I said they weren’t live flowers. If you are worried about how they will look, DONT be!!! There is a great variety of flowers on their website and I am so happy with how everything turned out. If you are renting flowers, the return process is SO easy!

Awarded Best of Zola
I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!

Zombie Flowers

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

We contracted Zombie Flowers to provide bouquets for our runway models at Uncon Bridal Con. They were amazing at their communication leading up to the event and delivered the bouquets promptly according to our schedule the day of the event. Their punctuality gave our models enough time to rehearse the runway with their florals. Aside from their great professionalism, Zombie Flowers is a super creative company. Their floral arrangements can be described as wild, yet put together giving a very unique aesthetic that you can't find from Etsy. The best thing that brides say about their products is that their lightweight and already preserved for life. We cannot recommend them enough to add something special to your wedding day!

From our first conversation, Posey Society showed they genuinely cared about making our wedding day special. What really stood out was their affordability—I had been quoted high prices by other florists and told I'd need to swap flowers for cheaper options, but Posey Society delivered every single flower I wanted without breaking the bank. When our florals arrived, the owner surprised me with free polaroids of the actual arrangement, which felt so thoughtful and personal. Their communication was responsive and kind throughout the entire planning process, and the quality of their work was stunning. We felt confident choosing Posey Society because they combined professionalism with a genuine passion for what they do. We couldn't be happier with our flowers or the experience.
