It's hard to put into words how talented and wonderful Tess was to work with. When we first connected, I was immediately drawn to her vision, how collaborative it felt she was, and how she was willing to work with me on planning a less traditional wedding weekend. Aside from some very general direction, I really gave her creative freedom to do what she thought would be best, and then her first proposal exceeded anything I could've imagined so it was a no brainer to work with her. The year of working together was just as great as that first interaction—she is extremely organized and detailed, takes initiative to handle things that were able to be taken off of my plate, and is just clearly so passionate about what she does, and that is reflected in her work. During the wedding weekend, she and her team took on tasks that were outside of what they should've been handling, but did what they thought needed to be done to make my life easier and to make the vision come to life. I was so grateful to have her around for the weekend. But above all of that, the flowers were absolutely incredible. I can't tell you the number of people—both who were at the wedding and who weren't even there—that approached me or reached out to me to tell me they were the most gorgeous flowers that they had ever seen. There wasn't a single person who wasn't blown away by them, my husband and I included!! Long story short.. work with Tess. You won't be disappointed.

Petals Flower Farm
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves South Portland, ME

Petals Flower Farm is a small flower farm that grows, harvests, and curates flowers for you. Our passion for growing flowers is why we love showing off these blooms on your special day. Every element, from the soil, the sun, and the tender loving care, is where your flowers begin. Our team has been digging in the dirt and playing with flowers since they were girls. Our designers know the seasons and the flowers and can complement each piece uniquely. Our 'fresh from the garden' floral designs will complement your day perfectly.

Petals did the flowers for our wedding party and we couldn't be more pleased with how beautiful they were. Lyndsay was easy to communicate with, so friendly, and of course, put together the perfect bouquets based on the color palette I gave her. Prices were incredibly fair - highly recommend!

Wintertide Floral
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves South Portland, ME

My foundation in floral design began on a small flower farm in Vermont over 10 years ago, where I immersed myself in the full lifecycle of the work—planting, harvesting, and arranging blooms directly from the field. That experience shaped my style: deeply seasonal, textural, and guided by an intuitive understanding of form and color. My aesthetic is loose and intentional, layered with luxurious texture and touched by a sense of intentional wildness. A steward of sustainable design, I avoid floral foam and plastics, and aim to use local materials wherever I can to have the lightest footprint on our planet possible.

Jenny’s florals for my wedding were an absolute dream, she completely nailed my vision within my budget and I couldn’t have gone with a better florist. Her work is stunning and I received non-stop compliments on her beautiful and unique arrangements. She totally understood my color scheme and vibe, and everything, especially the bridal bouquet, was perfection!! And to top it all off, Jenny is a wonderful and kind person to work with. 110% recommend!

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

At Nectar & Vessel our ethos is sustainability + bliss-forward designs. We specialize in arrangements that are full of texture, unique and lush. Working with Naomi and her team at Nectar & Vessel was truly an incredible experience. Aside from the marriage itself and celebrating with our loved ones, the floral design was the part of wedding-planning I was most excited about, so finding the right team to make it all happen was really important to me. From our first meeting, it was obvious how warm, talented, creative, professional, and enthusiastic Naomi is - she is so passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, and it really shows in her work. Naomi and her team went above and beyond to distill all of my ideas and wishes into a final cohesive vision that was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Everything Naomi and her team created was stunningly executed - from the bouquets, boutonnieres, and the gorgeous chuppah at our ceremony, to the lush arrangements, centerpieces, and hanging greenery at the cocktail hour and reception, to the magical floral clouds that hung over our dance floor. Many guests told me that these were the most beautiful floral designs that they had seen at any wedding they’ve ever been to - I’m still receiving compliments about them months later. We especially appreciated Naomi’s attention to detail (she and her team made little bouquets for guests to take home at the end of the evening that everyone loved), and how conscientious she is about sustainability (she uses reusable vessels for everything and doesn’t use disposable foam products - something that can be hard to come by in the floral industry). Writing this review was challenging because it’s so difficult to find the words to properly convey how beautiful everything was and how grateful we are for Naomi and her team’s work! We wholeheartedly recommend Naomi and her team at Nectar & Vessel to anyone looking for floral design for their wedding or event, and we are so thankful to have had them by our sides on our special day.

We are so grateful we booked White Birch Florals for our August 2024 wedding! Jessica is an absolute professional and truly the best of the best in the business.
