“People talked about the food for MONTHS after our wedding. The details matter - they thought of things that had never even occured to me! As we were busy greeting our guests, Steve and Laurie made sure to set aside appetizer plates for my new husband and I. Everything was so delicious all of the apps were gone by the time we made it to our seats just to find two plates placed with care at the head table. At the end of the night, everything was neatly boxed up for us (yes, we got to keep our leftovers!) and they even made a separate container of our pig roast scraps for our dog! I recommend them to anyone for an all around wonderful experience that your guests will talk about long after the celebration day is over.”

Our specific dream was shared between two men: Martin Magaña and Arnuflo Gonzales, who would later become the Co-Executive Chefs of the Trouble Makers' Restaurant Group. Their shared dream was simple: serve food reminiscent of the flavors and textures of their lived experiences, thus creating meaningful, vibrant, and delicious plates. In 2021, they partnered with Dillon Knight to create Trouble Makers' Restaurant Group, and dubbed their fare "Mad Mexican" cuisine.

The team was fantastic and there for us in so many ways - they gave us the idea for churros with dipping sauces as dessert and curated a last minute appetizer menu that was delicious. “My daughter (the bride) explained how she wanted the buffet set up, Kayla understood exactly what she meant and made it happen with an "action station"! The buffet show was just as good as the food! I asked if the bartenders could drop a "drink topper" into the drinks, no problem. I asked if Hoffman House could provide desserts, no problem! I asked if we could change one of the wines at the last minute, no problem! Everything we requested was met with a positive attitude and I never felt like I was asking too much. The whole night was just fabulous!”
