I was getting 2–3k videographer quotes and honestly thought I’d have zero wedding footage… UNTIL I stumbled across this company. Affordable, simple, and truly so special. I now have memories of my parents, grandparents, and friends that I’ll treasure forever. I almost tried to DIY the whole thing, but realistically editing my own wedding footage would’ve taken me until our first anniversary. They made everything fun and effortless. Thank you SO much!

Rose Gold Films was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding video. Their communication was effective, clear, and amazing throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was truly wonderful, magical, and beautiful. Rose Gold Films flew all the way out to Montana to help capture our ceremony, as well as traveled to Kansas for our reception, and made a beautiful combined video of both of our special days. Literally, our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without her! Forever recommending Rose Gold Films for all video needs!

YouFilm Weddings
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)

A fun, candid alternative to traditional wedding videography. Your favorite people capture the laughs, happy tears, behind-the-scenes moments, and dance floor chaos on easy-to-use camcorders, and we turn it all into the wedding home movie you’ll watch for years to come. Add a nostalgic touch with our 35mm camera rentals — perfect for candid guest photos, behind-the-scenes moments, and flash-filled memories that feel straight out of a family photo album.

We didn't hire a traditional videographer, so ordering cameras from YouFilm Weddings for our guests to use was the perfect solution. The team was so friendly and easy to work with from start to finish, answering all our questions and making the whole process simple. The cameras were straightforward to use, and our guests loved being part of capturing the day. What we ended up with is this incredible home movie filled with candid moments and genuine reactions that we'll rewatch forever. It feels so personal because it's through the eyes of the people we love most. YouFilm Weddings gave us something really special that a traditional videographer couldn't have created.

American Rose Films
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)

American Rose Films is a motion picture wedding studio led by Justin and Steph, partners in life and work. Based in Connecticut and traveling widely, they are drawn to the art of noticing. Their films, made primarily using 16mm & Super 8mm analog film, capture the texture and feeling of a day as it unfolds. Each frame is exposed to light & developed through a chemical process. The result is a wedding film that feels like a memory.

It's hard to capture a romance that has lasted well over a decade, but Justin & Steph from American Rose Weddings did just that in the 15+ collective hours we spent with them. During the wedding planning process, securing a videographer was the last vendor we booked. Not because we were dragging our feet, but because we we could not find a videographer who matched our vision. We wanted the day to be remembered in a unique, authentic, timeless, and intimate way, but most of all, we wanted it to feel like "us." We wanted a videographer who could capture the small details that oftentimes go unnoticed during the day, but paint best picture of who the couple is. We didn't someone to just film the day, add orchestra audio, and call it a day. We wanted a unique storytelling experience from start to finish with someone who was a skilled cinematographer. After Skyping with Justin (and him showing me his collection of super8 cameras which was SO cool), I knew that it was a perfect match. We met Justin & Steph in-person during a couples shoot at our home. Immediately, we formed a connection. They were so easy to be around and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I could see the wheels turning in Justin's mind as the camera rolled, and I immediately could tell that Justin & Steph already knew what kind of story we wanted to have told. When the big day arrived, they were a calming presence in a swarm of craziness. After the wedding, we met up with Justin & Steph at a brewery to finish recording reading our letters to each other. This was the moment that reminded my husband and I that not only did we luck out in the wedding vendor department, but we just gained 2 new amazing friends. When we received the sneak peek and full video suite back (very promptly, I might add!), we could not believe what was in front of us. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. It was unlike any other wedding film we had seen before. It captured our romance and special day so perfectly. As my mom said, the video looked like a "a true Hollywood film." Working with Justin & Steph was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. When we look back fondly on 7/24/21, they are the reason that we will be able to do so clearly.

Midmay Films
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Vintage style
  • Serves South Butler, NY

At Midmay Films, Elis Llinares documents weddings on Super 8 film, creating nostalgic, cinematic keepsakes rooted in presence, emotion, and the quiet beauty of real moments, preserved as living memories to return to for years to come.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Elis. From the very beginning, she understood our vision in a way that felt rare and deeply intentional. On the wedding day itself, she was such a calming, effortless presence — never intrusive, always in the right place at the right time, capturing moments we didn’t even realize were happening. The final Super 8 film absolutely took our breath away. It feels timeless, nostalgic, and so full of soul — like a living memory rather than a video. Every frame feels thoughtful and emotional, and somehow they managed to capture not just how our day looked, but exactly how it felt. Watching it back instantly transported us to those moments: the quiet in-between glances, the laughter, the joy, the warmth. If you’re drawn to storytelling, artistry, and something truly meaningful and one-of-a-kind, this is your sign to book Elis - Midmay Films. Choosing her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and this film is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
