In the early 1970’s, Paul’s Pastry Shop located in Picayune, Mississippi, began filling the King Cakes with an assortment of Fruits and Cream Cheese, then topping them with the brightly colored Mardi Gras sugars and sliced almonds… thus beginning a new tradition of the Mardi Gras King Cake. Our customers not only have the choice of the traditional cinnamon king cake, but also an exotic, deliciously filled King Cake with your choice of up to four flavors in the same cake.

Founder of B A T T E R, Abi Caswell, has known since her first job in high school (working the counter at a cupcake shop) that she loved little, sweet treats. Abi left after 4 years, but never forgot the joy she felt serving customers their treats for special occasions. Abi, known to her friends and family as the "cupcake queen," was later always asked if she could make a small cake for various events. After denying many requests, Abi finally taught herself how to frost cakes.

Baking is the dream and the life. We love to make cakes taste good and look just like you want them. We've been baking over 15 years and been in business for some time. All our cakes are made fresh to order and we make sure we provide exactly what the customers ask.
