Olympic Valley Stables is one of the most beautiful, untouched and historic pieces of property throughout North Lake Tahoe. With unobstructed views of the mountain and 4 acres of green & golden meadow, our location offers a unique rustic aesthetic that will bring you back into time. Once a fully operational riding stable with over 50 horses and ponies, we now use the property for events and weddings to maintain and restore its rich history for all to enjoy!

We have three total wedding venue locations to choose from. Alpine Lodge available July – October, offers an all outdoor option with a mountain backdrop. Olympic Village Event Center located mountainside with an outdoor Summer/Fall garden area for the ceremony, adjacent deck for cocktail hour and evening firepits, and indoor lodge style reception with stunning mountain views, existing market & twinkle lights, and a big fireplace. Available year-round. High Camp located on the mountaintop. This venue offers an incredible experience for you and your guests, and also has Lake Tahoe views! The ceremony and social hour will be on the outside observation deck and the reception is indoors with the same lake view and sweeping mountain scape. Available April – early December.

Sparks Water Bar is a gorgeous new restaurant and the Nevada Home of the Wet Woody®. Opened in August 2021, Sparks Water Bar comprises two floors of the waterfront at Sparks Marina. The second floor features private rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows with western-facing views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Reno’s sparkling lights. The beautifully appointed event space has access to a wrap-around Juliette balcony and a small private deck in the larger room. The North Star House was built during the age of the California Gold Rush as a home and business accommodation for the second largest producing mine in California. It was designed by Julia Morgan, the first licensed female architect in in the State. Her greatest claim to fame is the Hearst Castle. The House features a catering kitchen, lighted courtyard, open grassy areas, wooded views, a veranda overlooking the sunset and plenty of parking. We're only a couple miles from Downtown Grass Valley's accommodations, shops and nightlife. We allow for lots of flexibility in how you plan your day and you can bring your own vendors and beverages. We started the Chestnut Grove Event and Wedding Center in pastoral Brownsville California with the goal of providing premium service. We want to help happy couples begin their lives together in a beautiful outdoor setting, rich with the history of Northern California’s gold rush. The site here was first peopled by the Maidu. Evidence of their presence can be viewed near the seasonal stream, where grinding rocks tell of food preparation. Our goal is to provide the best event we can to each client.
