Our space can seat up to 45 guests plus additional outdoor and side room accommodations if needed. Event Rentals start at $600 for a three hour rental. Our in-house catering menu is available for events and includes crepe bars, charcuterie options, bartending and more. This historic space first opened for business in 1922 as a silent movie house, called the Rosedale Theatre, and was revamped as The Vox Theatre in the 1940s. Once inside, the 6,500 square foot building boasts 20' high ceilings and sweeping views throughout the main event space; your gaze will wander to the original stage valence framed by customized architectural lighting. Housed in the restored Fire Station No. 31, Fire House KC has been meticulously renovated with tradition and elegance. Throughout the entire space, several preserved accessories and artifacts from the era are showcased, including the original fire pole, antique fire hose cart, and fire hose shaft. Blending the history of the area with modern infusions, Fire House KC is now a classy, elegant, and charming event space. The main hall showcases original brick walls and windows, with antique chandeliers adding a touch of elegant refinement. The second floor, which once housed the offices and sleeping quarters for one-duty workers, now features multiple suites for the wedding parties to prepare as well as a perfect intimate ceremony room.
