When not out catering private events, you can find Chef Dalan cooking through the open kitchen window at his hip downtown restaurant Rascal's Vegan in Santa Barbara, serving up the most delicious and authentic plant-based Mexican cuisine. Dalan started out in the culinary world, slinging tortas out of his garage to friends and neighbors. His journey has taken him far, now a successful restaurant owner in Santa Barbara, you can still find Chef Dalan volunteering to cook for community non-profits, teaching cooking classes about plant-based nutrition for the youth and elderly, or shopping at the farmer’s market supporting local produce vendors.

Hearth is a family-owned, Latin-inspired wood-fired pizzeria based in Moorpark, California. We began as a small catering service that grew into our dream of opening a restaurant. Now, we have the privilege of returning to our roots by bringing our ovens, handmade sourdough, seasonal ingredients, and warm hospitality to weddings and events throughout Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties.
