Dalan started out in the culinary world, slinging tortas out of his garage to friends and neighbors. His journey has taken him far, now a successful restaurant owner in Santa Barbara, you can still find Chef Dalan volunteering to cook for community non-profits, teaching cooking classes about plant-based nutrition for the youth and elderly, or shopping at the farmer’s market supporting local produce vendors.

Hearth is a family-owned, Latin-inspired wood-fired pizzeria based in Moorpark, California. We began as a small catering service that grew into our dream of opening a restaurant.
