Kawada Hotel has approximately 690 square feet of meeting room space. From a small meeting, birthday, party, or any other event we are ready to host you. There are two conference rooms A (420 square feet) and B (270 square feet) that can be combined for a total of 690 square feet and a boardroom (230 square feet) located on the mezzanine that can meet your various needs. Conference A and B has a Sony State of the Art 85" smart TV. Catering is available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Grass Room is perhaps our most distinctive location and features a flowing 6,000-square-foot site plan designed for private events, courtyard weddings, receptions, exhibitions, productions and live performances. The venue is fully amenitized, and we provide experienced, professional site management plus a commercial kitchen for client-selected catering teams. Built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a fish and oyster company, an ice cream factory, and a commercial site for everything from far east imports to marijuana cultivation. This quirky history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

We offer two unique venues that are MOBILE - we deliver them to your preferred location in the LA and Orange County area. The Blackthorn & Thistle is our charming, authentic mobile Irish Pub, featuring a working fireplace and Guinness draught system. The Captain's Quarters is our fun, tropical, shipwreck-themed mobile tiki bar, featuring a working waterfall grotto and a boat bar! We are a Top floor penthouse in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The perfect space for gatherings or to celebrate a special event. There is no other space like this. We have packages for you to be able to customize the ceiling to a theme of your choice. We can split the space into two sections or you can buy the full space out. We have 6 restrooms total onsite as well as 2 prep kitchen areas and a spacious balcony. Minimum hourly depends on day of the week or type of event. We run our space in time slots not hourly We require a security team to insure the event runs smoothly. This is a separate cost and depends on the capacity. We charge a $2500 refundable security deposit via email invoice. This amount is returned within 4-5 business days of the event once everything checks out.
