As a young child, like many children, I picked dandelion and other "weed" bouquets for my mom. Making wishes and blowing the dandelion seeds was also a favorite pastime. I drew flowers all over everything, and since I was a kid with little talent in drawing, I became quite proud of my flowers.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. Creating something truly unique for you is my greatest passion. Poppin' Peonies began to bud in 2020 & it has flourished in the last few years. I'm Bre, I am a solo-traveling florist and LOVE any adventure when it comes to a new area. Floral design began as a hobby and grew into a true passion. I love gardening and sourcing from local farms (in addition to my own garden!) as much as possible to give each client the best product possible. Born and Raised with family in the greenhouse & flower shop trade, I started my company when I was 25 after working in New York City doing large events and installs. Loving my rural roots and the ability to grow, I settled down in central Ohio on a 17 acre farm where I grow many unique specimen of floral & fruit.

Leta Verbena is a boutique floral studio based in Redondo Beach and is owned and managed by Emma L. Seitz. She started her wedding career as a wedding planner back in 2014, and her experiences gives her a different perspective for floral design, as she deeply understands the logistics, details and flow needed for a successful wedding day. Florals were added to the business in 2018, becoming the sole focus in 2020. I started working with wood flowers in February of 2020. A friend of mine had recently gotten married, and seeing her bouquet in the trash stuck with me. I researched fresh vs silk flowers, fresh are stunning but expensive & have a fast expiration date. Silk flowers didn’t really satisfy the customization and realism that I desired. I stumbled across wood flowers, purchased a few & quickly realized that not only was I actually a little talented at what I was doing, but I absolutely LOVED doing it. I fell in love almost immediately. I want to express my love & passion for these wood flowers & I want brides to fall in love the same way I did.
