I spent 20 years in the corporate world as a Graphic Designer, and baking was something that I always gravitated to when I felt stressed out. During the pandemic, I found myself in the kitchen a lot. I think it’s hard in this day and age for a lot of people to stop and appreciate something that is so detailed and crafted by hand, to imagine that every stamen, every petal, every bud, every calyx, and every color is made individually and then combined together to make a sugar flower.
