My name is Teri Blevins and I am the ridiculously proud Owner of Lil' Bit of Heaven Cupcakes ❤️ Lil' Bit of Heaven Cupcakes is the longest, single owned Cupcake Bakery in the state of WV, proudly baking your dreams come true for almost twelve years! We bake for and deliver 60 weddings every year on average, and we deliver weddings up to 6 hours away. Weddings are my biggest responsibility (failure is NOT an option) and also my biggest blessing ❤ We were voted by WV WEDDINGS MAGAZINE readers as the BEST WEDDING CAKE IN WV for 2021, and have been voted the BEST HOMETOWN BAKERY IN WV by MSN, and consistently named the BEST CUPCAKES IN WV ❤

    Lil' Bit of Heaven Cupcakes LLC provided exceptional service for our wedding desserts. Their communication throughout the planning process was great - Teri was so kind and helpful, and made the dessert portion of our reception easy! The quality of their work was simply beautiful, and our cake was perfect. We couldn't have asked for any better desserts or service. Lil' Bit of Heaven Cupcakes truly contributed to making our special day even more wonderful!

    Your tummy and taste buds will thank you

    I worked with Teri last year for an August wedding and she was such a treat! Then I had some of her desserts - mouth wa-te-ring! I'm a huge sweets person, and I loved that their cake was sweet but not overly done.

    My fiancé and I moved to Saint Albans a little over a year ago. We decided to finally try this bakery out because we’ve seen different reviews on it. We stopped in this afternoon and when we walked in there were two women young girls probably mid 20s if not teenagers, and they never said hello or welcome THEY DIDNT SAY A PEEP LOL and they just looked at us like we were odd - no hello, never asked if we needed help or anything, so my fiancé and I just started looking at the different cupcakes in the display and after a minute, I had such bad anxiety I told him I wanted to leave and we left. As we were going out the door the owner said thank you guys for stopping in (hollering from the very back never saw her face but my fiance did) but again as we went in nobody said anything to us the whole 10 minutes we were standing in there looking for something and there were employees everywhere (some standing infront of us like the two girls behind the counter) and some walking towards back areas and nobody was helping us. It was a very awkward experience for us both, we will not be back. If we want any bakery items, we will definitely be going somewhere else and traveling out. I appreciate the owner even acknowledging us as we left, however I will definitely be sharing my experience cause this felt so wrong. I own a business on YouTube and TikTok live I just couldn’t believe not being addressed the whole ten minutes I was in this establishment knowing as a small business owner you have to connect and greet your customers. It blew me away. I’ll never come back due to the uncomfortable feeling my fiancé and I faced. Make sure you understand your employees are the face of your business. I wish you the best!

    Elisabeth my name is Teri Blevins and I am the Owner of Lil' Bit of Heaven Cupcakes. I am absolutely furious, and I am appalled that this was your experience in my bakery. The young ladies that were working up front are both seventeen years old. But that is no excuse. I am so upset right now. I am shaking because customer service and exceeding customer expectations is something I have prided myself on for sixteen years. Your experience is unacceptable for me. Every customer, every time should be made to feel welcome when they come into our bakery. There is no excuse, especially not during slower times for anyone, to walk into our bakery and not be greeted immediately. I take full responsibility for this issue. Clearly, our training of these two employees has fallen short and that is not okay. While i feel absolutely certain that they both should know better, this apparently has not been impressed upon them enough. There are no words that I can say to apologize to you at the appropriate level of how upset I am, that this was your experience. I absolutely respect and understand your desire to not want to come back, and frankly I don't blame you. If however, you can find it in your heart to understand that this is simply not an accurate reflection of the pride we take in our business, i hope that you will give us another chance. These two employees will be dealt with immediately. Again, my deepest apologies. I am so ashamed that this was your experience. Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention. And it will be handled as we speak. Also I do want to make sure that I address the fact that I was not in the back. I wouldn't have even known you were there if I was in the back of the bakery, I was standing out front right next to the Christmas tree that's decorated in the bakery. So I did want to clarify that. I have spoken with both of our young ladies about your review. They are both pretty mortified. It is definitely a serious training issue, and we take it as such. They are both very soft spoken young ladies and I have impressed upon them the importance of making eye contact with every customer, so that when they say hello or when they greet them, the customer absolutely knows they're being spoken to. While they are our newest employees, that is no excuse. We will take every opportunity to train them to know better. And to do better. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention
