Hey, what’s up I’m Emily! and I’ve been photographing weddings for over 10+ years now. I'm from Richmond, VA but I love to travel, especially for something as special as your wedding day! My photography style has been described as moody, filmy, and dark. There’s something really beautiful about photography that is nontraditional and that’s something I like to bring to the table. I love using unique angles and creating something that is truly art!

I am an experienced photographer in the Richmond, VA area, most recently named Richmond's Most Loved Photographer of 2020, 2021 & 2022. There is nothing I love more than watching my clients families grow as the years go by or watching two people express their love for one another at a wedding ceremony. Capturing those milestones means the world to me and I feel as though that passion shows through in my creative but natural photography style.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for understanding people and making beautiful images. Earning dual degrees in fine art photography and anthropology was a natural extension of this passion — a path that led me to launch Cramer Photo in 2005. I focus my photography on the art of documentation. I love to capture the in-between moments, when a bit of your inner self is revealed. Your images will be a perfectly honest reflection of you, the people you love, and the moment you’re in. I am a visual storyteller, documenting the personal and professional stories of my clients. My name is Sebastien Mortreux and I am a photographer in Ashburn, Virginia. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a four year degree in Photography. My native country is France and I have also lived in Argentina and Brazil. I speak French, Spanish, Portuguese and English. In my life, I have had the opportunity to travel to more than fifteen countries. During my travels, I was exposed to many various cultures and learned to adapt and embrace different environments. I have been working with Photography for more than twenty years. I am properly insured with general liability from Hiscox.

On a wedding day, there are so many joy-filled moments, and I am obsessed with capturing them all! Fitting everything into one day can feel like a daunting task, but that's where I come in! Doing this for a decade, I've become a bit of an expert when it comes to making sure you get everything you're looking for!

I’m a type 9. If you know what that means, we’re probably going to be best friends. If you’re clueless, don’t worry. I’d be happy to talk your ear off about personality types when you have five hours to spare. I love all things related to personality, birth order, human behavior - all that jazz. My listening and empathy skills are on point. Plus, if you get a case of wedding day jitters, I’ve got you.

I love photography but I love people even more. With that I have two main goals: great photos and happy couples. My style: I try to stay out of the way as much as possible while I capture the real authentic expressions and emotions of the day. When it comes to portraits, I will provide as much direction as is necessary to get the most flattering angles and poses while still looking natural. If you are comfortable on camera you may not need much direction. If you happen to be a little camera shy I’m happy to help and make you feel as comfortable as possible.
