Formed in 1911, the Woman's Club of Bethesda has been an active member of the Federation of Woman's Clubs. Our clubhouse was built in 1927 and has hosted countless community events, dances, and celebrations. We maintain the historic charm and character while offering all the modern day amenities. Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion is an elegant wedding venue in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Conveniently located just 9 miles from downtown DC, it resides on a private 40-acre nature sanctuary. Built in 1927, this historic location was designed by the renowned architect John Russell Pope, who also designed the Jefferson Memorial, DAR Constitution Hall, and the National Archives Building. Environmentally conscious couples will appreciate this venue’s commitment to nature and wildlife preservation, offering a beautiful and sustainable setting for your special day. Located in the heart of downtown Rockville, Rockville United Methodist Church has the perfect setting for your dream church wedding. Couples can choose from our Sanctuary that seats up to 400 for a traditional wedding day OR use our Dream Wedding Chapel that seats up to 50 for a more personal take on your day.
