The face behind Padre Ryan is me, Laura Schimmel, a Corpus Christi transplant from New England. I worked at Padre Ryan for 2 years as Director of Photography before taking on the ownership role in January of 2017. I love every moment of being a photographer, videographer and business owner. I love being out on the beach when I can, whether it's taking photos or just relaxing. I also just welcomed a baby girl into my life this past November! We couldn't be prouder and happier parents.

Whether your wedding venue is on a beach, at The Art Center, the Knolle Farm or your back yard, I will be there. I do not charge extra for last minute requests of "services needed" such adding a Sand Ceremony. I don't charge for signing or mailing the marriage certificate. My fee does not go up if the number of your guests should increase. You get all of this for $100.00. Due to the vows I took when I was ordained, I cannot perform same-sex marriages.
