Kathy and John chased a dream to move to Vermont and start a farm, having had careers as science teachers in the Philadelphia area. Kathy had attended University of Vermont, fell in love with the state, and vowed to return one day. John left teaching to take his lifelong organic gardening passion to the next level. They looked at a number of farms across southern Vermont, and when they found the Farm at Williams River House, they knew they had found someplace really special – a front row view of Fox Chair Mountain, verdant green hayfields, timeless stone walls and split rail fences, and a stately home dating back to the time of our nation’s founding! Convenient to Middlebury, yet tucked away on a rural dirt road, Pink House Farm is a great space to enjoy a peaceful week or long weekend in Vermont. Outdoor enthusiasts, local food connoisseurs, Middlebury College parents and alumni, Pink House Farm makes for the perfect place to start your adventure throughout the central Vermont region. Is it really pink? Yes! After painting an old barn red, the original owners realized they wouldn't have enough red paint left over to completely cover the house. Rather than buy more paint, they opted instead to add in the excess white paint they had lying around and voilà, a pink house!

We only hold one venue per weekend. We are on 6 acres located in the Monadnock area of New Hampshire. We are a venue and lodging establishment. We have a large patio for venue use for rehearsal dinners etc. Lots of places for photos and fun and games.

In 2011 we purchased an old dairy farm in a quiet corner of Harrisville, New Hampshire. We cleared fields, planted orchards and gardens, built barns and a commercial kitchen, boiled maple syrup, raised pigs and sheep, and opened a farm store.
