Hi! I’m Julia, middle name Margo, a film school dropout and music buff who wants to make your wedding look like art. I'm here to represent diversity in the couples I work with and weddings I shoot (love is love), to give you something hyper-shareable that will instantly transport you in space and time for the rest of your lives, and to make you cry upon watching. The crying is very important. Bear with me on this analogy, but basically I like my wedding films like I like my salads: raw, organic, a little bit of quirk and flare, and consumed alongside great music. After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

Josh Strauss Studios is a professional wedding photography studio based in New York City. Josh has a contemporary, documentary-style approach to wedding photography. He highlights your sweet, intimate moments so that you can relive the joy of your special day. He utilizes unobtrusive techniques to capture natural images without disturbing the flow of events. Traditional portraits are also effortlessly posed so you feel comfortable in front of the lens. We also offer videography and a fun photo booth.

Perfect Cadence Events offers an unobtrusive style of videography that provides full coverage of your days events while you enjoy the company of family and friends. We strive to capture even the small, genuine moments to be enjoyed for years to come. Options include highlight (5-10 minute), full-length (1-2hr) and short feature (30 minute) edit profiles. Fueled by nostalgic recalling we aim to create a film that is timeless and authentic. Motel Cinema is based out of San Diego, Ca and our approach to weddings is inspired by the untraditional travelers before us, who hit the road in search of adventure into the unknown.
