Her sweet treats include everything from stunning tiered wedding cakes to elegantly curated dessert bars and intricately decorated sugar cookies. Melissa has a wide range of experience, having worked for various national publications as a recipe developer, food stylist, and editor.

After pursuing a degree in fine art with a concentration in graphic design and working in the industry I took an opportunity to open a restaurant and market with my mom. As fate would have it, that business lead me to grow my baking skills and I later combined that with my desire to create fine art and started Gingerspice Bakery.
