Hi, I’m LaKenya, owner of Lala’s Crib Catering. I’ve been passionate about catering for over a decade, starting my journey in New York, where I built the foundation of my business. What began as a love for cooking and bringing people together has grown into a full-service catering company now serving North Carolina, parts of South Carolina, and Virginia. I travel for events and specialize in creating memorable experiences through bold flavors, quality ingredients, and beautiful presentation. Welcome! I'm Chef Sakinah. I have worked in the food and beverage industry professionally for over a decade and counting. Throughout my career, I've worked in various restaurants across New Jersey, New York City, Florida, North Carolina, and California. With this exposure, I've learned many different styles, cuisines, and techniques of cooking, and from many executive head chefs. Managing and handling all facets of the kitchen, is also my expertise. Graduating from one of the top Culinary Arts Schools in the United States, I earned my A.A.S Degree in Culinary Arts, and Serv Safe/State Food Safety Certificate.

Justin and Meagan Hitt are a husband/wife catering chef team rooted in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia. Both attended culinary school in Roanoke, Va at Virginia Western Community College and moved on to work at multiple locations including Hotel Roanoke and Primland in Meadows of Dan. After traveling to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and back to Burlington, NC; Meagan and Justin decided to return to Meagan’s hometown of Galax, VA to provide and share their expertise with the amazing people in the SWVA area. ”We want to be able to share a beautiful and tasteful, full experience beyond the plate of food within any of our services”
