“We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we started planning, everyone at Skyview Golf Club was incredibly attentive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we dreamed it would be. Hildegard was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was perfect, and she made us feel so supported and taken care of from start to finish. She was attentive to all of our little requests, made sure everything ran smoothly, and somehow always seemed to be one step ahead of us. Her care and attention to detail truly made a difference and allowed us to relax and enjoy our wedding day knowing everything was in good hands. The entire staff was wonderful, professional, and so accommodating. The venue itself was beautiful, the food was incredible, and everything came together seamlessly. Our guests are still talking about what an amazing time they had! We are so grateful to everyone at Skyview Golf Club for helping make May 9, 2026 one of the most special and unforgettable days of our lives. “Our wedding was the smoothest day we could have asked for. From the time we booked to the morning after, we knew we were in excellent hands. Lea was professional and made booking everything from the wedding itself, tasting, and rehearsal dinner a smooth process answering every question we had, and more we hadn't even thought of. Working with John as our maître d' was a lifesaver. Coordinating us where we had to be, helping us with our banquet menu, and making sure we were able to enjoy our time with our guests while still being able to eat and drink at our cocktail hour made us have a night that we were able to look back on and actually remember, not just be a blur. The venue itself is gorgeous, only doing one event at each property (the Olde Mill Inn itself and the Grain House across the parking lot) each day, so you do not have added stress about timelines or not having support day of. Our ceremony was in the Courtyard, and reception in the ballroom, with easy access to said courtyard if you needed to go outside and get some fresh air. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather, but they are also prepared to be able to host the ceremony indoors just in case.”

“Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.”

“Bridgewater Manor was an incredible venue for our wedding. Alyssa was amazing - she was very prompt in returning our emails and phone calls, and was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Alyssa was extremely attentive and made sure I was ready for the ceremony, even helping to put my husband's boutonniere on correctly. I was very nervous right before walking down the aisle, but Alyssa was there to calm my nerves. Adele was also fantastic all night long - he made sure we had food and drinks during cocktail hour and was available to assist us with anything we needed. I never had to hesitate to ask Adele for help. The entire Bridgewater Manor team contributed to making our wedding day so special and stress-free. From the stunning location to the seamless flow between the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and photo opportunities—all in one place—it made everything so easy for us and our guests. We didn’t have to travel anywhere, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. The service was absolutely exceptional. The entire staff was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. We appreciate all the work, professionalism and hands on attentive approach from the staff (a special shout out to Juan and Becky!!). None of this could have been accomplished without them working together in the same manner. It was seamless. “We had the best day of our lives at the Madison Hotel! We actually found them through Zola, having never heard of them before. When we toured, we fell in love with the Conservatory, which is ultimately where we had our ceremony and reception. The day was amazing - the food was delicious (and there was so much of it!), the hotel was beautiful, and it was convenient having our guests onsite for all activities (like our after party). I only deducted one star due to communication; I felt like most of the communication was driven by us, such as scheduling our final venue walkthrough. Everyone was very helpful, but I would have liked a bit more communication as a type A planner. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of our love.”

“There is nothing but wonderful things to say about Mama's catering services. We used Mama's catering for our wedding in September 2026. From the beginning, communication and planning with Sheri was seamless and quick. We were able to completely customize the menu to our liking including cocktail hour appetizers, dinner, and desserts. Sheri is incredibly kind and helpful in her communications and has many years of customer service and planning experience. Sheri and Tom were nothing but kind, generous and thoughtful throughout our planning process. Sheri even contacted my venue to talk to the coordinator to make sure the day of and catering would go smoothly. The day of catering team lead by Corynna could not have been more wonderful. The cocktail hour food was delicious, hot, and it was passed around abundantly and efficiently to the guests. The many butlers and large catering team were incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and attentive when serving food during cocktail hour and dinner. We were blessed with a dedicated server for just the bride and groom, and we were served our own appetizer plate and dinner plates and were able to enjoy our delicious food during a chaotic day. The dinner food was served hot and generously to all guests with many chosing to go up for seconds! We had an endless amount of our guests comment on our delicious food, with many commenting especially on how delicious the pear purses are (my personal favorite). There was also a dedicated server to just the 2 Gluten Free guests, who were served their own meals. Mama's also was able to provide us with a late night pizza service that guests also enjoyed. Corynna communicated seamlessly with all of the other vendors including the bartenders and DJ. All of the servers were incredibly present the day of and could not have been more perfect. They were constantly checking in, making sure we had everything we needed, and paying attention to the little details so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Their thoughtfulness went far beyond simply serving the food. They genuinely cared about making sure our day went smoothly and that we, our families, and our guests were taken care of. We would absolutely recommend Mama's team to anyone looking for a catering team that genuinely cares about their couples and their guests!”

“David’s Country Inn is truly the most incredible place you could have by your side on your wedding day. From the very beginning, they made us feel completely at ease, and it quickly became clear that they were so much more than just a venue, they were our guides, our support system, and the people who turned our dream into reality. Honestly, without them, our day would not have been the same; they were absolutely priceless and worth every single penny. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail are unmatched. From planning to execution, they thought of everything (big and small) and made sure we never had to worry about a single thing. They even let us deliver our décor the day before and decorated the space for us, executing our vision flawlessly. Throughout the entire day, there was always someone by our side coordinating, keeping everything seamless, and allowing us to truly soak in every moment. The food was outrageously good, our guests are still raving about it. To our surprise, there was even a full dessert buffet in addition to the cake, which felt like an unexpected gift. During dinner, when they ran out of scallops (my favorite), they immediately cooked more just for me, the bride. And whenever we left the table to dance, they whisked our plates away to keep them warm so we never missed out. Every thoughtful gesture made us feel so cared for. What truly sets David’s Country Inn apart is how deeply they care about every couple. We trusted them completely, and that trust was met with nothing but joy, attention, and an experience beyond our imagination. Even with a large team of vendors around us, it was the staff at David’s Country Inn who anchored the day, ensuring that everything felt effortless, magical, and unforgettable. Choosing David’s Country Inn wasn’t just about booking a venue, it was about having a team who would treat our day like their own, protect our memories, and make the celebration everything we dreamed of and more. They are extraordinary, both as professionals and as people, and I cannot recommend them enough. If you’re considering them, DO IT! They will give you the wedding day of your dreams.”

“From the very first tour at American Beauty Events/Embassy Suites in Berkeley Heights, we already knew this place was special. Walking into the stunning glass house absolutely wowed us and instantly made us feel like our wedding vision could truly come to life there. What made the experience even more unforgettable was the incredible team behind it all. Lynda, the director, was an absolute blessing throughout the entire planning process. Her communication, coordination, warmth, and genuine care made us feel supported every step of the way. She truly held our hands through it all and made what could have been stressful feel seamless and exciting. The chefs went above and beyond to create an amazing menu while also thoughtfully incorporating and tweaking dishes to honor our culture. Every bite was incredible, and our guests are still talking about the food! The add-ons, especially the lechon and hors d’oeuvres, were phenomenal and such a huge hit during the celebration. Christina was also wonderful in helping coordinate everything on the day of the wedding, making sure things flowed beautifully. The rooms for us and our guests were beautiful, comfortable, and made the entire weekend feel even more special and relaxing. And an extra special shoutout to Patty and Sonia — words truly cannot express our gratitude for these two amazing women. They did so much more than catering or event service. Patty especially took such incredible care of John and I throughout the entire night — from helping bustle my wedding gown, making sure we actually ate, reminding us to hydrate, checking in on us constantly, and even making sure we had moments to breathe and enjoy the celebration. That level of care, kindness, and attentiveness meant the world to us. We genuinely felt so loved and taken care of. We are beyond grateful to the entire Embassy Suites Berkeley Heights/American Beauty Events team for making our wedding day feel magical, smooth, warm, and unforgettable. Thank you for treating us not just like clients, but like family. We will forever cherish the memories you helped create.”

“We got married at Neshanic Valley Golf Course in October 2025. It was the most gorgeous day and Julia helped everything come together perfectly, leading up to and including the day of. From the outdoor ceremony, to the patio cocktail hour and incredible reception (and after party!) everything was perfect. We were able to bring in the vendors of our choice and everyone worked so well together - with Julia being able to provide her best guidance. She worked well with our wedding planner and helped us make great decisions knowing her experience with the flow of how the day goes and considerations from the venue perspective! We had 137 people, brought in a stage and the reception space was the perfect size. After seeing the stage, I was slightly nervous but made the floor feel full and the goal was dancing all night long. We also had so many compliments on the food - especially at cocktail hour - and never ran into any issues with a drink line forming. The band sounded incredible in the space and everything was truly perfect. I highly recommend having your wedding at Neshanic!!”

“We stayed here with our bridal party and friends coming in from overseas for the weekend of our wedding. Immediately, everyone was raving about the space and how gorgeous and huge it was. On the night before the wedding, we used it as the rehearsal dinner space, bringing in pans of catering but heating, serving, and using dishware all on site. We were so pleased with how well stocked the kitchen was. We spent so much time on the porch, playing pool, and taking pictures on the staircase. On the morning of the wedding, we had hair, makeup, videography, and photography come to us at the house. It was a great space that kept us from feeling like we were tripping over each other. I’m so excited to see the photos and videos because I know the setting was perfect. Even before we arrived, Steve was so helpful and flexible in our booking process. I could not recommend this space more highly!”

Farrell is so professional and knowledgeable and clearly loves the job she does. The venue itself was spotless. It is stunningly beautiful to the point where I didn't have to worry much about decorations or spend big money on centerpieces. Small subtle decor along with the beauty of the Birchwood made for a stunning wedding day. The food was beyond amazing. We did not want a sit down formal dinner so Farrell helped us create a cocktail hour type situation with various carving stations and food perfectly placed around the room. There were so many options for everyone, even those with special diets. They were able to accommodate everyone and their needs.”

“I am so in love with the Park Savoy and am so incredibly happy that we chose them for our reception! This estate is so timeless, elegant, and classy. The building itself is so naturally beautiful and has so much charm and character. I kept my own decor minimal because the building itself is just so beautiful. The whole staff was so helpful and organized during the planning process. They helped put all my anxieties at ease and allo They truly blew all of my expectations out of the water! Jess was my maitre d and she truly was my lifeline and was just absolutely amazing! Jess made sure everything I wanted to do was done and would tell us when certain events would take place or give us timing updates etc. I literally didn’t have to worry about one thing. I had the best bridal attendants. They had earpieces and were constantly communicating which helped everything run smoothly. I did not worry about one little detail, they got everything correct and helped bring my vision to life! I was so well taken care of, I never pushed in my own chair and the bridal attendants even made sure I was taken care of if I had to go to the bathroom. They took such good care of my parents and husband as well. We all felt like we were the only wedding they ever had and they had one earlier in the day and you would’ve never known! All of my guests have said over and over again how they have NEVER been to a wedding at a place like that. They were blown away by the amount of food at the cocktail hour not to mention how the food was displayed! Several of my friends and family who have attended many weddings and even had weddings themselves, said that Park Savoy was like nothing they had ever seen. One of my bridesmaids said it felt like a movie. Every table had its own waiter and every guest was taken care of with such great service. The whole night ran without any issues and Jess made sure everything was taken care of. The level of service and attention to detail that the whole staff has is honestly so refreshing and I truly felt like I was a celebrity! They know what they are doing and they are truly worth every penny! There is not one thing I would go back and change. I would just love to relive the day over again because it truly goes by so fast! I HIGHLY recommend this venue and would be happy to speak with anyone who is considering as these candid reviews helped me soo much in my booking and planning process. I will say- DO NOT HESITATE!!”

“I genuinely don’t know where to begin when it comes to Jennifer Batinjane and the entire team at The Albion. They exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding, and I can confidently say my expectations were HIGH . I had such a specific vision for our wedding and cared about every little detail, especially how I wanted our guests to feel throughout the weekend. From the beginning, Jennifer completely understood that. Not once did she make me feel like an idea was too much, a request was too specific, or something couldn’t be done. I would come to her with one of my “okay, this might sound crazy, but…” ideas, and somehow her response was always, “Yes, let's do it”. And she always did. Jennifer was our Memory Maker/Event Stylist, but that title doesn’t begin to cover what she became to us. She remembered the tiniest details, anticipated things before I thought to ask, and genuinely cared about our wedding as if it were her own. By the time our wedding day arrived, I trusted her completely - which, as someone who is VERY Type A, detail-oriented and has a hard time giving up control, says everything. The Albion took care of our entire wedding weekend. Our room block continued to grow, we had family and friends coming and going, and I had individually personalized welcome boxes that needed to make it to the correct guests. Nothing was ever treated like an inconvenience. The front desk and hotel staff handled everything with so much care that I never had to worry. Our ceremony was at the Cathedral Basilica in Newark, so I always wondered how we could possibly follow something so grand and breathtaking. But walking into The Albion afterward and seeing our reception come to life was a moment I’ll never forget. Every detail had been thought about. Nothing was overlooked. It felt like the wedding I had pictured in my head for so long - but somehow, even better. But as beautiful as everything was, what stands out most is how the entire Albion team made us and our guests FEEL. Every employee made us feel like our wedding was the most important event they had ever hosted. Our families were taken care of, our guests were taken care of, and Robert and I were taken care of from beginning to end. Everyone was warm, attentive, gracious and genuinely excited for us. And our guests noticed. We heard over and over afterward not only how beautiful the wedding was, but how incredible the staff was and how seamless and special the entire experience felt. As a bride, there is truly no better compliment. I went into wedding planning with some wild ideas and probably a few expectations that could be considered unrealistic. Somehow, Jennifer and The Albion didn’t just meet them - they exceeded them. Jennifer, thank you for listening to every idea, entertaining every crazy request, caring about every tiny detail, and making Robert and me, our families, and our guests feel so special. I know there were probably a hundred things you handled behind the scenes that we never even knew about. There are plenty of beautiful wedding venues, but you cannot manufacture the way people make you feel. That is what makes The Albion so special. They didn’t just give us a beautiful wedding. They gave us an experience we and our guests will never forget. I would choose The Albion and Jennifer a thousand times over. They will forever hold such a special place in our hearts, and “thank you” will never feel like enough.”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count. A 50-person celebration averages around $25,059 while stepping up to 100 guests pushes that to $41,588. Mid-sized weddings with 150 guests come in around $57,123 and larger gatherings of 200 reach about $71,002. Going bigger? Expect to invest around $84,881 for 250 guests or $98,761 for 300 guests. These figures help you set realistic expectations as you start planning.
