“We hired Alayna Parker Photography because she had photographed all of my husband’s siblings’ weddings, and we wanted to continue that special family connection. Having someone who already knew (and adored) my in-laws made everything feel so natural and comfortable, it honestly felt like having another family member behind the camera. From the moment I first reached out, Alayna was so easy to talk to and incredibly helpful. She quickly became more than just a photographer, she felt like a friend who genuinely cared about making our experience perfect. She answered every question I had (no matter how small!) and even helped me coordinate outfit colors for our engagement photos. We did our engagement shoot in Columbus on a freezing January day, but Alayna made it such a blast that we almost forgot how cold it was. “Working with S&LM was pretty good. They communicated to me closer to the event, and asked me for everything they needed and more. The pictures I have seen so far look great, and the small video I have seen looked good as well. They made sure I got almost all of the specific photos I wanted, and had a take-charge attitude while photographing, and making sure everyone was in the right place and looking great! The DJs were pretty good, but didn't know all the specific songs we mentioned that we wanted played for certain dances/moments. They also didn't announce the first dance until they were hitting the play button, which threw our choreography off until we asked them to restart! Unfortunately, some people missed our dance because they didn't know that it was happening. It still worked out in the end, and all the right songs were played at the right moments. All in all, I would definitely recommend Lights & Sound Media to prospective couples.”
