The Rose is a NEW event venue that opened January 2019. We are an all-inclusive venue that comes equipped with professional event coordination, tables, chairs, linens, china, flatware, glassware, decorative lighting, and table decor. We also provide full in-house catering, beverage service, and staffing and will connect you with the very best local vendors. The Rose also has a concert-quality sound system, up to 4 large-screen televisions, a theater-quality video projection system, and an elevated stage enabling comprehensive entertainment options.

“We had the wedding of our dreams at The Rose, and I’m still in awe of how perfectly everything came together. It was truly the best day of our lives. Very early in our tour, my wife and I knew we had found the perfect venue. The building is full of charm — the upstairs state room is ideal for cocktail hour, the front lounge creates a warm gathering space for guests, and most importantly, the dance floor is huge with an incredible stage. We wanted to throw an absolute rager with a live band, and The Rose was the perfect place to make that happen. Patricia, the event coordinator, runs an incredibly tight ship. She is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and always on top of everything. The planning documents were thorough and thoughtfully structured, and she kept us on track every step of the way. Wedding planning can be stressful, but Patricia made us feel completely confident that every detail was handled. At the rehearsal, Patricia took full command in the best possible way. She had every minute detail mapped out, which allowed us to truly relax and focus on enjoying the moment. On the big day, we felt so well taken care of. Fun fact: My wife and I actually booked The Rose before we got engaged — a little untraditional, I know. We wanted to lock in the venue before dates filled up, and it took so much pressure off. When it came time to propose, I reached out to Patricia to help plan it. At our wedding, there was even an “X” on the dance floor marking the exact spot where I proposed. 2 Penguins is not your typical wedding location. We are a Taproom and Restaurant providing quality food, service and beverages. We were in the traditional wedding business under the umbrella business, Panache Catering, Inc, for over 30 years and left it because we eventually were worn out by what it had become. In that time we catered thousands of weddings. The expectations among a some groups of wedding families simply became impossible to meet. If you, too, are becoming worn out by what you are finding in the wedding industry you likely have found a great alternative at 2 Penguins.

“We cannot recommend Two Penguins highly enough! Kris and her entire team made our 130-guest wedding absolutely magical. The day before our wedding, rain was forecasted right when we had planned our patio ceremony. Kris walked us through indoor options with such calm confidence that we felt completely at ease about changing our plans. When torrential downpours hit during our actual ceremony time, we were so grateful for her foresight! She even handled last-minute adjustments to the guest entrance to keep everyone dry, all with complete professionalism. The entire team was phenomenal. They were friendly, efficient, and genuinely happy to be part of our celebration. The open bar service was top-notch, and all the food was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the mac and cheese, French fry bar, and Brussels sprouts. They were crowd favorites! The venue was ideal for our group, with plenty of room for guests to sit and visit while also having ample space for dancing. Since we got married on a Sunday, we had access to both the Fireplace room and the main bar area, which created the perfect layout for our reception. The team helped create that relaxed, joyful party atmosphere. Despite weather challenges, our wedding day was flawless.
