Aurelia K Photography
Rating: 5.0 (19 reviews)

  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,500
  • Serves Paradise, MT

Hey! I'm Aurelia! I am a natural light wedding photographer based in Western Montana with a love for the golden sunsets, the wild west & all things travel. I am ready to be your new bestie all while capturing your unique love story through my lens, anywhere your love takes you. Let's adventure together! It is super important to me that my photos capture true emotion + connection with you + your lover.

“Before we were even engaged, we reached out to Aurelia, hoping she'd be available for an elopement the following year. Her incredible portfolio gave us a strong gut feeling—we knew we had to get on her books before we made it official. From our very first conversation, we felt at ease. Despite being total strangers and miles apart, there was an immediate sense that she was the right person to authentically capture our special day. What we didn’t realize at the time was that we weren’t just hiring a photographer—we were gaining an advocate, a guide, and someone who truly cared about our experience. Eloping in a state we don’t live in came with its challenges, but Aurelia was there every step of the way. She was quick to respond to every question and hurdle, including coordinating a backup florist at the last minute when our original one failed to respond the night before the wedding. We were also lucky enough to have Aurelia take our engagement photos a few months before the big day. As two people who don’t naturally feel comfortable in front of a camera, we hoped this would help us ease into things. But what truly made the difference wasn’t the extra session—it was Aurelia’s gift for capturing candid, genuine moments without making us feel overly posed. When we sent her a Pinterest board of ideas, she went above and beyond—showing up prepared with props, and even driving a vintage car down a dirt road to bring our vision to life. Leading up to our wedding day, Aurelia created a thoughtful and organized timeline that we shared with our loved ones. Thanks to her preparation, everyone was on the same page, allowing us to stay present and on track to capture all the moments that mattered most. For my husband, the idea of six hours of photos initially sounded like a nightmare. But by the end of the day, he said, “That was the most fun I’ve had in a while—and my favorite memory with you, even more than traveling the world.” That sentiment is entirely thanks to Aurelia. She made the experience feel completely tailored to us, turning even the most photographed spots in West Glacier into something that felt uniquely ours. We truly cannot rave about Aurelia enough. We look forward to any excuse to travel to Montana again—just to have her capture all of life’s future milestones.”

“You literally cannot find a better photographer than Makenna. She was literally everything. She and her assistant helped carry my train and wrangle my family and pose me and my fiancé in comfortable ways. She is so sweet and fun that she makes you forget that taking photos can feel weird! I had a full panic right before the alter and she was a big part of why I wasn’t worried. No matter what happened or where we did it, I knew the picture would be amazing. Makenna is the best there is and I say that as a photographer.”

“Just rent the flowers y’all - after getting multiple thousands of dollars in quotes from florists for our tiny dinner party wedding I started to look for other options. SSB had great reviews, in person or zoom consultations and a VERY helpful FB group that helped me pull the trigger even being pretty skeptical that the quality wouldn’t be there. Fast forward to the day I unboxed them and I was floored, some of the petals even FEEL REAL. Don’t know how they do it. Shipping was easy, fast and return labels were in sticker form to just pop back on. Our guests had no idea they weren’t real, especially with our low light reception it was impossible to tell. It was a breezed - we spent about 450 for 9 large centerpieces, bouquet and a few boutonnières for the guys from the Marlowe collection rather than the 2-3k quite well we’re getting from florists here in Atlanta that at the end of the day aren’t sustainable and would have looked the same (at best). Just rent the flowers y’all.”

He captured every perfect moment of our wedding in such a magical way. He had angles and shots of moments we didn't even realize he was recording. He customized our package and worked with us to create a priceless treasure for our family. His editing is superb, creative, romantic, endearing, and maintains a classic and timeless beauty we can look back and enjoy for years to come. We are so grateful we chose to work with Brian at Veiled Rose Films. Highly recommend his services for anyone wanting an amazing experience and beautiful keepsake of their special day.”

The Faux Bouquets

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

“The Faux Bouquets were great at communicating throughout the entire process! They provided amazing, lifelike floral arrangements that were beautiful in our wedding photos. This was such an easy and convenient service - we simply received the pre-made package, used them for our special day, then packaged them back up to send off. We were thrilled with the quality and value of their work, which truly contributed to making our wedding day perfect.”

“Jen was absolutely wonderful to work with! She took my idea of Harry Potter inspired bouquets and made it a reality. Throughout the process, she kept me updated and checked in on any suggested changes to make sure I was happy. I was absolutely stunned by the results and my bridesmaids loved their bouquets, which I gave to them as a gift after the wedding. I highly recommend Wood & Word Blooms if you're looking for beautiful custom bouquets that will last you forever and incredible customer service.”

If your idea of a perfect elopement or micro-wedding involves a wild location, a quirky Airbnb, or just tossing tradition out the window—hi, hello, I might be the photographer for you. My company is Southeast based, but absolutely not glued here. I’ve photographed love stories all over the U.S.—NYC, Denver, Vegas, NOLA, Savannah, etc.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We are so beyond happy with our experience with Jennifer and her team!! After she came up to NYC to shoot our engagement photos, my husband and I knew we had made the right choice and were so excited for her to shoot our wedding as well. Jennifer made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera (something that I often struggle with). As a non-traditional couple, we always felt that Jennifer understood us and didn't try to take a "one-size-fits-all" approach. I also heard nothing but positive things about her from our guests and our other vendors. Jennifer really understood our vision--our photos are better than I could have imagined! If you're thinking about hiring Jennifer, do it!!”

With our florals we ordered an 11” arch, tray, letter M, ring holder, jewelry dish, Christmas ornaments and necklaces. Everything turned out beautifully and we are so happy our wedding florals have been preserved. Communication was seamless and it was so exciting to see sneak peeks throughout the process.”

“I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Ali! She reached out to me on Zola and I am so glad she did. I was impressed with her portfolio and I really loved seeing how she would capture little moments in the weddings she had done. We set up a video call before booking and we clicked. She is very calm and helped with my pre-wedding nerves. She worked with us on a payment plan and she was always very quick to respond to any of my questions. She really listened to what we wanted. She got to the venue early to scout out different shots and came to check in with me a couple of times before we even began taking photos, which I did not expect but was very sweet and considerate of her. When we were taking photos, she really helped to guide the more “posed” photos but she also captured a lot of beautiful candid moments. We had so many guests come up to us and compliment her and that was before we even got the photos back. She sent us our sneak peeks the next day and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. She captured so many beautiful moments and her style is exactly what we wanted. Nothing felt “overly edited” just perfectly genuine. I cannot recommend Ali enough. I cannot wait to see the full gallery of photos because I know they will be nothing short of perfect.”
