My husband and I knew we wanted to get married but did not want to plan the actual wedding…and we are so lucky that we found the company Wedgewood. With so many venues to choose from, we got married at The Sanctuary in Long Beach and when I say our wedding was stunning, I mean it. We will cherish the day forever. Wedgewood made the entire process so incredibly easy, it almost felt too good to be true. But it was true! All we had to do was make the final decisions and our team took care of the rest of it. We showed up, got married, had an amazing party with amazing food and drinks and had the time of our lives. Not only did we love our wedding, our guests loved it as well. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our decor was and how smoothly everything went. As a bride, I was so nervous about our timeline going the way it was supposed to, but our wedding coordinator, Fumi made sure everything was on track. Fumi made our day so much better and my bridal party loved her. She made me believe that the most important thing was that I married my husband. I highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings. There are no loopholes, their pricing is reasonable and you are able to express yourself freely with them and plan your perfect wedding day. Everyone on their team was no kind to us and make our day so much easier and made us feel so so special. I am so grateful for Wedgewood. Book with them!!

Overlooking the Pacific from Redondo Beach to Malibu, our seaside Sanctuary offers a breathtaking setting to begin your life together. Housed within the historic Haggarty Estate—a 1920s oceanfront mansion—the Sanctuary blends coastal charm with timeless elegance. Adorned with hand-painted ceiling murals and framed by panoramic ocean vistas, the space accommodates up to 250 guests for ceremonies and 100–120 guests for receptions. A beautifully appointed ocean-view bridal suite and manicured gardens enhance the experience, creating a stunning and serene backdrop for your special day.

BEAUTIFUL venue that is hidden away - the experience starts from the drive TO the church as you turn into a breathtaking wide ocean view. The church is so beautiful we only needed two pillars and 2 arrangements for decorations. The only downside to decorations is there is a lot of limitations (they dont allow anything on the aisle, not even a white aisle runner) BUT the church is so gorgeous on it's own. Setta the wedding coordinator is very professional and kind and really helps day of to coordinate the timing of everything. She has a very calm demeanor which is helpful during a hectic day. Pastor Scott officiated and he was very kind and accomodating. The majority of our guests were born and raised in southern california and remarked how they never heard or been to this church and they were amazed at how beautiful it was. Many commented how they felt they were in europe! It also was just the PERFECT summer day in mid-June- warm but a slight breeze with perfect blue skies. We had parasols for the girls and they came in handy to provide some shade while taking pictures! The reception offering is a little expensive and they only provide the space - no tables/charis and only beer/wine allowed and there is a curfew - either 9 or 10pm. This would have been a perfect place to do a reception as well but with all the resctrictions and planning required to do it there we opted out of it but I really wish we could have! Their package includes day of coordinator, you must use their officiant, an amazing organist, a bridal and groomsmen suite, a meeting with the officiant, and a rehearsal run through.

Made by Meg is proud to continue the legacy of the historic La Venta Inn nestled in the hills of Palos Verdes Estates. La Venta Inn has enjoyed a full, rich history on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. We are thrilled to bring the delicious Made by Meg cuisine and our incredible hospitality to this one of a kind property.

We got married at La Venta Inn in September 2024 and it was truly everything we could have asked for. The centerpiece here, and a large part of why we chose this venue, is the spectacular view overlooking the ocean which made for such beautiful pictures. Besides the natural beauty of the area, the building itself is a historic villa which felt cozy and intimate and yet comfortably accommodated our guest count of 100. Savannah was our contact person and was very responsive to emails, including some last minute seating changes we had in the weeks leading up to the wedding La Venta works exclusively with Made by Meg for catering - Kat was our contact person and was fantastic to work with. Note that they do not allow outside food vendors, but they were able to accommodate some of our special requests such as requests to source a specific brand of ice cream so that we could make our wedding unique to us. We got so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was. The other exclusive vendor that they are contracted with is Vox DJs. This is the only vendor that we had a less than stellar experience with. They performed their duties fine on the day of the wedding, with the exception of forgetting to set up the dance lights we had paid for, but the communication and planning leading up the wedding did not go as smoothly as I hoped, and I wish that we had the flexibility to go with a DJ company of our own choosing. However I understand the restrictions given that La Venta is a historic site. Overall, our wedding at La Venta was memorable, beautiful, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue with spectacular ceremony views. With a venue like this, you really only need a good florist (we used Flowernoon Shop) and a talented photographer (June Choi Photography) to bring out the natural beauty of the venue - you really don't need a lot of other rentals, draping, etc. We are so happy we had our wedding here!
