Auntie Viv's is an AAPI woman-owned & family operated small business adventure. When we visited Maui for the first time, and I fell in love at “first taste” with my very first Hawaiian shave ice. How I describe this phenomenon: “It literally was like a deliciously flavored, puffy cloud that instantly melted in my mouth & tasted like liquid gold. It was the best epicurean experience ever." I had my sights set on opening my own shave ice business & spending more time with my husband & two young daughters. I found myself being unhappy, working really long hours & it took a toll on my physical & mental health. Auntie Viv's opened Sept. 2017.

I create one-of-a-kind, edible works of art that celebrate people and life! I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I use fresh, organic, and seasonal ingredients in all of my baked goods.

We have different kitchens for our gluten-free & allergen-focused customers, and those OK with all ingredients. Our recipes are influenced by European chefs, hence are moderately sweet. We are happy to accommodate requests for ingredient substitution & go the extra mile to work with our customers on their ideal cake and dessert table - from design, to flavors, to budget considerations.
