This is our sixth year as owners and caretakers of this wonderful old place on Mentor Avenue. It has been a pleasure to host and serve thousands of visitors in their celebrations at Candoren since 2019. Pine Acres Event Center is a rustic wedding and events venue with modern-day amenities located in La Rue, Ohio. Our space can accommodate both indoor and outdoor celebrations. The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. Word of mouth spread of how delicious the meat was and it was quite a conversation piece. In 1999 our catering boomed, and blossomed into a banquet facility where we could catering and host beautiful weddings and events. Today we are proud to offer 2 separate ballrooms, complete with handicap-accessible restrooms, a lovely gazebo for outdoor ceremonies, and full-service catering, all at an affordable cost!
