We were lil baby high school sweethearts turned long distance when my husband joined the Marine Corps, and our journey together means absolutely everything to me. The Styled Stem came to be as a result of my undying passion for seamless and logistically sound events. Madison studied theatre at Virginia Tech with a capstone in event design. She has been in the Washington, DC wedding industry for six years starting as an intern and working her way up to owning her own business. She has produced weddings at a variety of DC/VA/MD venues, been seen in Washingtonian magazine, been a guest speaker at her alma mater, and leads her own team of wedding planners.

As I prepare for my own wedding in April of next year, I was taken aback by the exorbitant costs associated with floral arrangements. Quotes ranging from $6,000 to $7,000, with a minimum commitment of $4,000, were simply unfeasible for me. This led me to explore alternative solutions, and I discovered a passion for creating my own florals. I was delighted to find that I had a knack for it! This experience sparked the idea to launch my faux floral rental business, driven by the belief that beautiful wedding florals shouldn't come with an astronomical price tag. My goal is to make stunning arrangements accessible to all.

My business started when I realized a passion for photographing the beauty of a adventurous life! As life has continued I married the love of my life and now along with Adventures Photography have found a passion for photographing the union of couples.
