Eva from Blossoming Bough did an INCREDIBLE job with floral design for our wedding. From our first phone call, I knew that she was going to nail it – I could sense her creativity and excitement over my ideas and aesthetic that I had in mind, which made me thrilled! I asked for wild, lush, natural, woodsy florals, greenery, and grasses that complemented the beauty of Vermont’s varied and dramatic landscape and fit into our color scheme – but left the rest up to Eva’s creative and stylistic vision. Also, the planning process with Eva was so much fun! Being local to Vermont, I had the pleasure of getting to know her as a person and seeing her process – she is truly devoted not only to her craft, but to ecologically sustainable business practices – which reaffirmed my decision to work with her. She grows a large portion of the flowers she uses, sustainably forages local greenery (in my case – she hunted down a bunch of local seed-heads to use for my wedding nearly a year ahead of time and stored them for me!!), and recycles nearly all components of her installations/rentals to cut down on unnecessary waste. Plus, she’s literally THE nicest person – which makes working with her a breeze!! I had many times during the year where I had full lists of questions where I asked for her opinion on things, and she was always eager and happy to lend her thoughts/suggestions, along with pictures/examples of things from her own garden. As I look over my wedding photos and videos, the first thing my eyes notice is her beautiful work –and as a testament to that point, I’ve had several of my wedding vendors tell me my bouquet was the most beautiful they have ever seen in their years in the business. (which says a lot for people who see them day in and out during the seasons!) I am so incredibly happy I found Blossoming Bough and cannot recommend or thank Eva enough!

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

M's Wedding Flowers

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Norton, VT

M's Wedding Flowers is located in Moretown, VT and was founded by Emily Meade in 2016. After years of experience working under local florists and soaking up as much knowledge as possible, she felt it was time to pursue her dream of owning her own floral business.

Awarded Best of Zola
Emily was the most incredible florist to work with. I am personally not a creative person, but I do LOVE flowers. Real flowers were important to us from the beginning, but we didn’t have an extravagant budget. I was up front with Emily on our budget from the beginning and she helped bring our ideas to life, even when I couldn’t quite articulate what I was looking for. We did end up going a bit over our budget, but not because Emily recommended so, but because she was so easy to work with and I was so excited to bring her ideas in as much as we could. I do not have any regrets here. She created an absolutely stunning chuppah piece that brought our (rain plan) barn ceremony to life. The florals on the tables were the star of the reception with giant breathtaking peonies. And I can’t even express how perfect my bouquet was. I stated from the beginning a wanted a big, wild, and colorful bouquet and boy did she pull through. The men’s boutonnieres complimented the bouquets so well. She was sweet and always available when I wanted to chat through a new idea. Her communication was excellent, with timely check-ins, and easy and clear invoices for payment. I knew where every dollar spent was going, and am so glad we hired her for florals and set-up. Thank you, Emily!! We appreciate you spending your birthday setting up our wedding.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Pick a Bloom was founded on love and laughter in small-town Surry, Virginia by us, a mother daughter duo, who wanted to see our vision of fresh flower alternatives bloom to life. We work primarily with 100% REAL preserved and dried flowers and foliage.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Paula and Samantha pretty down to the wire of our wedding, but they immediately jumped in! We contacted them on Friday, and they had our proposal ready by Monday! Our flowers fit our vibe perfectly: I wanted something to pull from the venue's brick, but not look too "autumny" for our January wedding, and they nailed it! They look and feel like "regular" flowers, but they'll last forever and have so far held up perfectly! We're gifting a number of our pieces to our mothers and grandmothers as keepsakes from our amazing day, while saving the rest to display around our house! We're so happy to have such beautiful mementoes to remember it by!

Boom & Bloom

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Norton, VT

As a little boy from Mexico, I spent countless hours helping my grandmother in her flower shop, where I first discovered the magic of design and the way flowers can tell a story. Boom & Bloom’s floral style is unapologetically abundant, artistic, and designed to make a statement.

Arturo has been with us since he was 18, and we have seen him grow in so many ways. He is extremely friendly and all of the guests always love him. He is dedicated and highly focused on the details, and that commitment shines through in both his team and his floral designs. We’ve worked with many florists and the property has never been adorned with so many beautiful and unique arrangements. For Agatha & Bartek’s wedding, the entire estate was filled with breathtaking flowers all weekend long. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding day and after day brunch. The tent was alive with vibrancy, and the way he incorporates flowers, even weaving them seamlessly with trees, is truly stunning. He is a true artist with an eye and vision to create something truly unique and special for each couple. We can’t wait to see what he does in the near future!

Wintertide Floral

5.0

  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Norton, VT

My foundation in floral design began on a small flower farm in Vermont over 10 years ago, where I immersed myself in the full lifecycle of the work—planting, harvesting, and arranging blooms directly from the field. That experience shaped my style: deeply seasonal, textural, and guided by an intuitive understanding of form and color. My aesthetic is loose and intentional, layered with luxurious texture and touched by a sense of intentional wildness. A steward of sustainable design, I avoid floral foam and plastics, and aim to use local materials wherever I can to have the lightest footprint on our planet possible.

Jenny’s florals for my wedding were an absolute dream, she completely nailed my vision within my budget and I couldn’t have gone with a better florist. Her work is stunning and I received non-stop compliments on her beautiful and unique arrangements. She totally understood my color scheme and vibe, and everything, especially the bridal bouquet, was perfection!! And to top it all off, Jenny is a wonderful and kind person to work with. 110% recommend!

June Farm

5.0

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Norton, VT

We specialize in organically styled weddings and events of all sizes, using only flowers that we grow or forage from our Burlington 5+ acre farm. Our approach embraces the beauty of big flowering branches, woody shrubs, grasses, and wildflowers, all artfully combined with our seasonal farm-grown favorites like Lisianthus, Dahlias, Ranunculus, Cosmos, and Sweet Peas. We prioritize showcasing what each season offers, helping clients to connect their unique celebrations to the essence of that time of year. There is a distinct beauty in flowers that bloom in their natural season, and we are committed to highlighting that in our designs.

We booked June Farm for our October 2025 wedding and are still blown away by how gorgeous our florals were! Even though our wedding was in the fall, our color palette was very spring, and I was worried there wouldn't be enough of those shades during that time of year. Brooke, the owner, assured there definitely would be, and she was right - our day was full of light pinks and bright oranges with a pop of blue! I'll be honest, I didn't care too much about the specifics of florals on our wedding day - just that we had some and they didn't look horrible. If this is you, definitely book with Brooke as she can turn the littlest of instruction into your exact vision you didn't even know you had. The one request I had was a hanging garland behind our head table, and I sent Brooke one inspo pic and she nailed it. What I loved most about our arrangements were how natural everything looked! I absolutely hate when florals look like a big pom-pom and was thrilled to see that ours looked whimsical yet professional. We had so many guests compliment them throughout the night! Definitely don't hesitate to book with June Farm if you're thinking about it!!

WOOD FLOWERS that last a lifetime. At Pine & Petal Weddings, we believe flowers should endure as long as the memories they celebrate. Our handcrafted sola wood bouquets and décor go beyond fleeting blooms—capturing your story in pieces that last for years. From walking down the aisle to gifting a friend or gathering around the table, our wooden flowers are keepsakes that bring joy, comfort, and timeless beauty to life’s most meaningful moments.

We loved the flowers we received from Pine And Petal Weddings! The flowers were priced about the same as normal flowers I would have ordered (maybe slightly less), but we got to keep these ones. They were shipped on time and got to our house just about a month before the wedding. The flowers on the wedding day still looked like they did when we unpacked them! They did a great job with taking my vision and making it happen with the flower arrangements. The flowers are of great quality too! I wish the communication was a little more clear, but it is just through a messaging platform. If I were to go back and do it over I would absolutely still pick them, but request to have a voice/video call to ensure I knew exactly what to order.

I had a wonderful experience working with Flower Power VT for my wedding. Anne and her team were prompt, professional, and thorough in their communication, making the planning process stress-free. The quality of their work was exceptional - the organic, top-quality, and creatively designed florals they provided truly brought our vision to life. We were married in September 2020 in Cape Neddick, Maine. Hannah was great to work with and she traveled quite a ways to deliver our flowers. I left the design mostly up to her and was very happy with what she came up with. Would recommend!!
