We started the Chestnut Grove Event and Wedding Center in pastoral Brownsville California with the goal of providing premium service. The North Star House was built during the age of the California Gold Rush as a home and business accommodation for the second largest producing mine in California. It was designed by Julia Morgan, the first licensed female architect in in the State. Her greatest claim to fame is the Hearst Castle.
