I've always had an interest in photography, but my passion really took off when I had my first child. There is something special about capturing children in the moments of pure joy. I moved to downtown Minneapolis from Iowa to attend college. My husband and I met my husband at a cafe concert where we both never thought we’d see each other again. This is where I fell in love with people, specifically the connection between two who are madly in love. Born in the French Alps and growing up together with my 4 siblings, in a stone house on the side of a mountain, it wasn't difficult to be moved by the beauty that surrounded me. My love for photography began as a sophomore in high school taking black and white photography. I landed my first wedding in Seattle in 1999 somewhat by accident. After a couple loved the portraits I made for them, they asked if I would shoot their wedding.
