Xela Florals

5.0

  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Norlina, NC

Finding my passion for floral design completely changed my life for the better. It is the art form I was always searching for. To be able to do this for others and be a part of their special day in such a beautiful way is truly a dream come true. Every detail is important to me, from the color palette and the vessels to the candle stick holders used. I am here to help bring your vision to life, and am happy to creatively steer the ship whenever needed.

I love flowers but didn't feel like I had a super clear vision for exactly what I wanted for my wedding except for color scheme and where they'd be placed. Alex made the most incredible arrangements that were breathtaking! She somehow knew exactly what I wanted even more than I did and was super easy to work with. Her a la carte option made it really flexible for my budget and needs and I cannot stop thinking about the florals!!

Thistle & Moon was founded in 2021 by Mary Furby. She recognized the need or unique and modern floral design in the Moore County area. With a little (more like a lot) of help from her support system, Mary created a company dedicated to bringing intention into every design. We believe in finding beauty in the unique details. Our flowers will never be mass-produced, over replicated or thoughtless. We are here to help you design events, weddings, elopements, and your everyday flower needs. Thistle & Moon: creating intentional flowers for unique people.

We were thrilled with the stunning florals by Thistle and Moon for our wedding. Mary (the florist) expertly brought our whimsical yet modern vision to life with vibrant colors and cascading arrangements. Her creativity was evident in every detail, including the elegant white columns and monochromatic design of flowers in ikebana. The bridal bouquet was unlike any other I’ve seen with cascading yellows, greens purples and burgundy flowers. The flowers added unforgettable elegance and romance to our day. Thanks to the talented team at Thistle and Moon for making our wedding truly magical!

Sparks & Sand

  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Norlina, NC

Hi guys! Mekai here, owner + founder of Sparks + Sand floral design. Originally from Palm Springs, California and now in Raleigh for a couple years, S+S has brought me the most incredible opportunities to share in the joy + wonder florals can bring to every person, every event, every meaningful moment. I am so darn thankful I get to connect with so many unique people with visions I cannot believe I get to bring to the table. Thank you for supporting me, + allowing me the space to be a part of your most special celebrations. I cannot wait to connect with you!

We have had sparks and sand at Lucky Star Ranch multiple times and she has been great every time. We are a small family ranch venue in the middle of the desert and she is always more than happy to help where she can even if it has nothing to do with her flowers. I've never seen a disappointed client or staff member after chatting with her. Mekai works really hard to make sure everyone is happy and will go above and beyond. We're always happy to see Sparks and Sand is coming back.

Leslie Ivey Designs

5.0

  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Norlina, NC

A Raleigh, North Carolina native, Leslie has not let location deter her from experience. Both independently and as part of a team, she has produced events across the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Her experience has provided the rare opportunity to participate in all aspects of event planning, design, and installation. From flowers to props, catering to rentals, design to execution, for budgets of any size, she has done it all.

We worked with Leslie for our wedding. She was amazing to work with and could easily adapt our floral plan as our vision shifted throughout the planning process. Her prices were reasonable and transparent, something I did not always feel was true about some of the other vendors we considered. Leslie was super efficient with her setup and preparing everything that needed to be transported. The finished florals turned out even better than I imagined (and I looked at a LOT of floral inspo pics!). I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Comfy Florals

5.0

  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Norlina, NC

We're a sustainably-focused floral design studio madly in love with vibrant in-season, locally grown blooms. As experts in seasonality, we’re excited to guide you through what's locally available for your event date. We work hand in hand with Mother Nature and top specialty cut flower farmers of the Piedmont to bring you the best available blooms for your celebration.

As a sustainable wedding planner: Comfy Florals always comes through for our couples in a way we LOVE. In fact, they saved the day recently: one of our couples ordered a succulent bouquet from a non-local online vendor and when it arrived, it was a birthday planter! Comfy Florals came to the rescue the moment I called and recreated a succulent bouquet with less than 24 hours' notice before the wedding. The bride cried happy tears. It was gorgeous. In other weddings with Comfy Florals, the florals are always unique and her thoughtful, creative eye on all of it really stands out as one of the best in the industry. We recommend them to all of our Triangle couples. As a sustainable wedding planner, it can be hard to find a sustainable florist as responsive, detail-oriented, creative, and thoughtful as Comfy Florals. You canNOT go wrong booking them - my team HIGHLY recommends them!!

Something Borrowed Blooms provided the most lifelike and luxurious floral arrangements for our wedding day. The bouquets, ceremony pieces and boutonnieres were all incredibly realistic and high quality, with vibrant colors and lush textures that exceeded our expectations. In fact, as my husband and I were taking photos in a park, a bee even tried to pollinate my bouquet, drawn to its beauty and realism. We had a great experience working with Poppy Flowers for our wedding. Their process was super straightforward, and their website made everything easy to plan. We met with Adrienne, who clearly explained how everything would work, and their on-site team did an amazing job bringing it all to life on the day. We sent just a few inspiration photos, and they customized all the arrangements. We were especially happy with the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, the ceremony centerpiece clouds, the table arrangements, and the elegant single-flower vases scattered throughout. Everything looked incredible at a great price. We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.

Avenue Design Studio is a travel wedding and special event florist, based in the Florida Panhandle and cover the entire East Coast! We have brought beautiful arrangements to our brides since 2015 and are looking forward to continued success in helping our couples make beautiful memories.

Working with Avenue Design Studio was such a pleasure! While florals were important to me, I didn’t feel the need to be heavily involved, and their team made the process so easy. They truly listened to my vision, allowed for updates as my plans evolved, and then took care of everything from there. They were incredibly helpful in working within my budget, creatively repurposing ceremony florals for the reception tables, which made the whole evening feel cohesive and elegant. I appreciated their attention to detail, like including flowers I love (amaranthus) and avoiding ones I don’t (baby’s breath). Their ability to travel and stay all day to assist with setup was such a bonus. Highly recommend Avenue Design Studio!

Choose one of our DIY flower kits or get a custom plan based on your colors, style, and budget.

Awarded Best of Zola
The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Welcome! So glad you found me. I’m Stacy, owner and design lead of Ethos Floral Events. I truly love flowers and the implementaion that comes from designing with florals and fauna. Helping clients choose florals, curating thoughtful elements for their wedding day while maintaining sustainable practices is at the soul center of my business. We serve the central Virginia area, NC and beyond. Richmond, Charlottesville & the Shenandoah Valley.

Our wedding was a few weeks ago, and we still have guests raving to us about how beautiful our florals were (and we agree wholeheartedly). Stacy has such a special eye for color and design. We went into the planning experience with only vague ideas of what we wanted. After our consult call, we felt confident she was the one for us and would help guide us through the process. Her kindness, expertise, and excitement were what drew us in. We cannot wait to get our professional photos back so we can admire them again, and I even decided to have my bouquet pressed afterwards so we could preserve the day further. Our florals were easily one of our favorite parts of the day. We could not recommend her enough!

Rainey Day Bouquets

4.1

  • Starts at $1,100

As I prepare for my own wedding in April of next year, I was taken aback by the exorbitant costs associated with floral arrangements. Quotes ranging from $6,000 to $7,000, with a minimum commitment of $4,000, were simply unfeasible for me. This led me to explore alternative solutions, and I discovered a passion for creating my own florals. I was delighted to find that I had a knack for it! This experience sparked the idea to launch my faux floral rental business, driven by the belief that beautiful wedding florals shouldn't come with an astronomical price tag. My goal is to make stunning arrangements accessible to all.

She also fully understood the vibe we wanted (tropical), and fully translated our wishes. All florals were so colorful and modern—exactly what we wanted. I loved how she made each centerpiece slightly different from each other, giving everything a cooler feel and not too matchy. Pictures I’m posting are only a tiny fraction of the florals. Overall, wonderful to work with.
