  • Starts at $2,500

I love capturing authentic moments in people’s lives and telling the story behind each image. I believe a photographer must be sincere in order to capture the true nature of her subjects. That’s why I strive to be not only innovative and creative, but also genuine, so my clients can feel comfortable being themselves during their sessions.

My husband and I booked four photoshoot sessions with Jean at Yeonjin Photography for our wedding. From the engagement and courthouse to the traditional and reception wedding days, Jean did an amazing job capturing the highlights of our special moments in a perfectly natural way we had always dreamed of. Her talent and professionalism left us in awe every time we saw her enthusiastically taking photos and presenting her finished work. Working with Jean was one of the best decisions we made for our big days. If you are looking for a photographer who can showcase your happiness through cinematic photography, Jean is the one for you. She is a true gem.

Kala Wilkins Photography

Hi There! I'M KALA (PRONOUNCED KAY-LUH) Let’s dive right in. I’m a wedding, portrait, and lifestyle photographer and if you don’t spot my hair first, you’ll hear my voice. I have a list for everything (yes, they’re color-coded) and am somehow still finding new ways to decorate a one bedroom NYC apartment (one word—plants).

I can’t recommend Kala enough. She has photographed countless special moments for my family, friends, and even my pets. We started working together when she photographed my wedding in Vermont. She captured the day so perfectly and we have stunning photos. She’s photographed my growing family, from infant photos to first birthdays. She is a pleasure to work with. Kala is very timely and provides sneak peak photos usually 1 day after the event. She does an excellent job editing photos and will work with you if you have any feedback. I love working with her and highly recommend her!!

Daniel Colonel LLC

5.0

New York, NY
  • Cakes & desserts
  • Starts at $500

Daniel Colonel loves telling stories through dessert. As a child, he was fascinated with food and always interested how it was made. He took his love for food, and sweet tooth to the Culinary Institute of America where he graduated in Baking and Pastry Management. Daniel's favorite part of the process is connecting with the couple and getting to know their love story. Wedding cakes with sugar flowers are his specialty but during the pandemic, he has began other sweet ventures including mini premium desserts that are served in cones and cookie boxes.

I've hired Daniel with Bocconi Foods for multiple clients and each one has been over the moon happy! The quality is fantastic.

Natasha Vallejo

5.0

New York, NY
  • Beauty professional

My name is Natasha Vallejo. I am a Personal Hairstylist based in New York City, specializing in: weddings & engagements, editorial, production, special events, and in-home stylings. It is my goal to listen and create the look that empowers you: the look that makes you feel happy, confident, and inspired. I am committed to creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you on your special day!

I worked with Natasha Vallejo for my October 2024 wedding. She provided hair services for myself (bride), 3 bridesmaids, and MOB. Natasha was fantastic to work with! She did a great job on all of our hair. If someone wanted a minor tweak or change to their hairstyle, she was able to easily accommodate it. She showed up early, worked fast and finished early but stayed until we had to transfer to the venue for any last minute touch-ups. Where I really appreciate Natasha is helping me out with makeup services. After a bad makeup trial, I reached out to her to see if she had any MUA recommendations. Within 2 days she had a recommendation, confirmed the MUA’s availability for our wedding date, and confirmed that the MUA could do a makeup trial for me at the same time and date that we had scheduled the hair trial for, making my life REALLY easy. She also included the MUA’s pricing… which if you’ve ever worked with a wedding vendor… you know it is so hard to get pricing upfront. I am really grateful for her quick action and extreme professionalism in this instance. It worked out so well. My final hair and makeup was a dream! During my trial, I had a higher updo but switched to a low bun for wedding day. Both styles were gorgeous. Her curls also lasted such a long time even when you took the bobby pins out. I wholeheartedly recommend Natasha to any bride looking for hair services!

  • Indoor
  • Starts at $20,000

We believe that a night out should be an experience. And what better place to experience well-made cocktails, lively conversation and bustling vibes than at our bar? Come on in and let us show you and your guests a good time.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Accommodates more than 200 guests
  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Bridal suite on site

Venue considerations

  • No free parking
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Does not have a dance floor
My husband Dustin held our reception at Albert's Bar in April. My goodness I cannot begin to say enough about how picture perfect this venue is! Not only is the space itself beautiful and unbeatable, the team behind Albert's Bar are among the nicest and most helpful I've ever worked with. Their events lead Jenn was with us every step of the way, the manager Pete made us feel so seen & heard, and a massive thank you also to Abby for executing every detail for us on the day of the big event! The bar tenders and wait staff completed enamored my family & friends (and how kind were they to humor us in our excessive enthusiasm!) There are so many areas of our experience to rave about... Quite honestly, my family and friends are *still* waxing poetic about their big night out in midtown. This venue absolutely elevated the experience of everyone who attended. We had several high profile attendees from out of town who mentioned more than once that they were "completely blown away by Albert's". My guests who were local were equally impressed. This venue made us look as cool as we think we are ;) Run, don't walk, to secure your wedding space with Albert's. It's the most hidden gem of an option in New York that exists in today's landscape, I can assure you of that. 0% chance you won't have the best day & night of your life if you take this route, as we did! 3 Kate & Dustin

Ask Neha Now

5.0

New York, NY
  • Planner
  • Offers 3 services
  • Starts at $1,500

You be the couple. I'll be the planner. You -- say vows, smile in photos, hug friends. Planner -- coordinate vendors, manage timeline, arrange set up By dividing these roles, it frees you to truly enjoy your wedding day.

Working with Ask Neha Now was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Neha was extremely efficient, organized, and clear in her communication throughout the entire wedding planning process. We had an initial planner who was not working well for us, and Neha quickly took the reins and picked up the pieces with ease. Her strong abilities as a planner/coordinator for our Sangeet was most evident when the day before had to cancel the Baaraat procession due to inclement weather - but with a sudden change in weather we asked if we could put it back on. Neha was able to quickly rearrange the day's schedule and vendors to seamlessly put it back on at the last minute. Neha and her team made sure we were always where we needed to be, and even brought us food and drinks so we could fully enjoy socializing and dancing with our guests. We are so grateful to Neha and the team for making our special day run so smoothly and for exceeding our expectations in every way.

The Standard, East Village

4.0

New York, NY
  • Venue
  • Up to 50 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor

Located off Cooper Square in one of New York’s most vibrant, artistic neighborhoods, The Standard, East Village is cozy, charming, and eccentric in equal measure—very much in the spirit of its surroundings. You enter the 21-story tower through an original tenement-style building before ascending to unparalleled views of Manhattan from the hotel's crowned jewel, The Penthouse. There’s a quiet, calm garden tucked away at street level that in the warmer months is filled with lush topiaries and floral arrangements, and in the cold season transforms into a magical winter wonderland. On the second floor, The Overlook is a cozy room perfect for a rehearsal dinner or cocktails, connected to The Perch which overlooks The Garden. Downstairs, there's Narcissa restaurant, which boasts its own private terrace, the street-side Café Standard, and NO BAR, a highly inclusive new wave gay bar with custom artwork and a disco ball.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Exudes style
  • Has an intimate feel for a small guest list
  • Private area for the wedding party

Venue considerations

  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Better for more intimiate events
Having never been privy to what goes into a wedding reception, I was in the dark about a lot. So, I had difficulty understanding what to choose and how much our choices would cost. If it wasn’t for the close proximity to the church, I may have chosen a different venue for our reception. The food and beverage was the biggest expense and the biggest source of confusion. The real disappointment of the F&B was the limited amount of food. The shrimp appetizer was good. However, there was so little, if you didn’t grab some, it was gone. Of the three entrees to choose from, the only one that was any good was the fish and the portion was less than one would reasonably expect for an entree. The chicken was dry and hard, a huge disappointment. The lemon tart dessert was good. The space itself is very nice. Fortunately, it was just the right size for our reception.

Lindsay Block

5.0

New York, NY
  • Beauty professional

Lindsay Block got her start as a hairstylist in New York City. She trained at the renowned Frédéric Fekkai Salon and spent nearly a decade at their chic Soho location before venturing out on her own. She delivers a fresh, modern, and effortless approach to hair. Originally from California, she has lived internationally in Tokyo and London, calling NYC home since 2001. Her effervescent personality is infectious and she has the innate ability to adapt her creative vision, collaborating seamlessly with her clients. Especially the connection with her brides, most of whom are lifelong clients!

I worked with Lindsay at a wedding in NYC this past fall and I can't wait to work with her again! She created the most perfect old hollywood style waves for this classic NYC bride. So often, hair like this doesn't make it through the day, but this still looked amazing as the reception was coming to an end. Plus, Lindsay was super laid back, kind, and easy to work with. Everything was done right on schedule too! I can't recommend Lindsay enough!

Joanna Toto

5.0

New York, NY
  • Photographer
  • Fine art style

Inspired by the likes of Guy Bourdin and Helmut Newton whose works she inhaled early on, Joanna likes to blend traditional imagery with unexpected compositions and negative space, adding her personal, fashion-forward flair to the documentary nature of event photography. After many years of directing models, she is an expert at gently guiding couples on their wedding day, encouraging natural connections and documenting the results. Passed through the anvil of anxiety and adrenaline that is Fashion, Joanna's personality turned out easy-going and her calm presence conceals an ever watchful artistic eye.

Joanna is an incredibly kind person and a fantastic photographer. Not only are her photographs outstanding, but she also is a true pleasure to work with. We felt so comfortable with her right from the start of our engagement shoot through our wedding reception. She is very generous of her time and was actively involved in the post-wedding process of helping us choose photos for our album (which was difficult because there were so many great ones!). We cannot recommend her more highly!

Flowers By Special Arrangement

New York, NY
  • Florist

Flowers by Special Arrangement is a luxury floral design company that was established in 1981. We love working with couples to produce a unique event that tells their story. We offer free consultations, walkthroughs at the venue and samples to ensure that the event is beautiful and smooth

Shula Weiner and her staff at Flowers by Special Arrangement were very warm and welcoming when I first visited the shop; I also found them to be very helpful. They listened intently when I explained my ideas for the flowers at my wedding and built on those ideas using their deep knowledge, creativity and expertise. As a bride-to-be and a passionate flower lover, I couldn't have been more delighted with the results: stunning floral arrangements with intense colors and rich textural contrasts. As beautiful as they were, the flowers did not overwhelm my intimate affair but instead, charmed my guests and perfectly adorned the spare setting! And the flowers for my husband's corsage and my bouquet were exceptionally well chosen and composed.

Red Oyster USA

New York, NY
  • Caterer

We are a boutique catering business, specialized in Oystertaining people. Our Oystertainers open fresh oysters on the spot while entertaining your guests. The oysters come from carefully selected oysterfarms in the Northern East coast of US/Canada. With their outgoing personality, our Oystertainers know how to persuade almost anybody to eat oysters. The founder, Matijn Wijn, started the company 20 years ago in the Netherlands. He is driven by a passion for oysters and when he introduced Oystertainment® it was an overnight success. We also run oyster bars at world leading art fairs like Art Basel and TEFAF. Let's Oystertain you!

If you have the opportunity to book Red Oyster USA for your event you 100% should! First off the booking experience was above and beyond with customer service, answering all of my questions promptly and with ease. My husband and I renewed our vows on a rooftop in New York City December 30. My husband and a lot of our guests enjoy oysters so I thought this would be the perfect addition to our reception! We had the pleasure of having Sophia as our Oystertainer for the evening. She was AMAZING!!! She was extremely friendly and helpful! I was not much of an oyster person before, but she had me try them a couple of different ways and I did find one that actually worked really well for me. If it wasn’t for her knowledge and guiding I probably would’ve never tried them and now I am a fan! The Oystertainer was really another amazing staple to our evening and I am so glad we were able to book them. I would book them each time I had an event if I was given the opportunity, I highly suggest you do the same!!!! You won’t regret it!!! Now I will have to wait until they expand to Oklahoma (hint, hint) to book again!

I'm Tom. I am a storyteller. One of my favorite quotes is, “I have the great privilege of being both witness and storyteller. Intimacy, trust and intuition guide my work.” by Jim Goldberg. I believe the best images come from the natural moments that happen in real life. I love the laughter, tears, and all the emotions that a wedding day has to offer. It's my job to preserve these moments.

Working with Tom was great - he was friendly, organized, responsive, and stayed true to his style, which was exactly what we wanted. If you want wedding photos that tell a story and capture all the real emotions of the day, I would highly recommend his services!

Our liquor-infused ice cream flavors are all inspired by classic and contemporary cocktails and are made with local and seasonal ingredients in New York, NY. Tipsy scoop blends the magic of an artisanal, hand-crafted ice cream with the mastery of a perfectly mixed cocktail. My great, great, great grandfather, Achille, moved from his small mountaintop town of Picinisco, Italy to Glasgow, Scotland. He made ice cream at home and sold it from a pushcart as he walked the city streets. Eventually he opened his own ice cream shop and brought his sons into the business.

Tipsy scoop was a vender for my wedding and they did an amazing job serving my guest. I would use them again my our next event

THE JON BATES BAND is an amazing dance-oriented “party band” that always gets folks dancing, feeling good and celebrating the occasion! THE JON BATES BAND is a "destination event band". They have literally performed all over the globe, providing an arsenal of abundantly talented musicians and vocalists, who perform an extensive repertoire of popular music in all styles and genres. They have the professionalism and touring experience required to offer clients the highest quality entertainment options on every level, and they have shared stages with some of the most legendary performers on the planet! - find more info at www.JonBatesBand.com

We saw the Jon Bates Band perform at our friends' wedding in Vermont a number of years ago. My now-husband and I knew (before we were even engaged!) that we wanted these guys to play our wedding, should we get to that point together. Fortunately, they travel all over and were happy to come to Delaware for our 10/5/2019 wedding. Communication was smooth throughout the entire process, and they were completely open to working with us on our song list and catering to what we really love most. Their rendition of our first dance song was spot-on to what we hoped it would be. They played a consistently strong set all night and had everyone - and I mean everyone! - up and dancing. I can honestly say that it could not have gone better, nor could we have enjoyed it more. I highly recommend this group of talented musicians.

STUDIO3 is a full service event design and production firm that serves clients in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries.

Studio3 started as simply my flower vendor, but when I realized Angela also did full event production I was thrilled she could handle the entire event. From tabletop, to tent setup, there was nothing too big or small for her and her team. So glad to have her create such magical day us. I will definitely be calling her for other parties in the future.

My first foray into photography was with the press, but as the digital era arrived I felt I was not being aware of what was happening around, always looking at the camera. Having picked up film photography early in life and motivated by the polarities of interaction, I came to wedding photography with a desire to probe the limits of my couples and their families honest feelings.

I can't say enough great things about André! The personality says it all, but the photos tell the story. They are timeless, fun and unique. The process is smooth and stress free -- from creating the timeline and making sure every moment is captured. The experience is one-of-a-kind. Every client falls in love with André's personality and passion. It automatically puts you at ease in front of the camera and removes all stress from the process! We love Branco Prata!

My clients and even wedding guests often comment on my calm demeanor in the midst of a wedding day "crisis" (yes, they happen at every wedding). I definitely attribute this to my time in the entertainment industry. My goal is to be a place of peace and calm for you, not just on your wedding day, but throughout the wedding planning process. In short: I'm going to help you (over) prepare for the best day ever, and when we need to pivot, you can count on me to be easy going and along for the ride.

Georgia blew our expectations out of the water on our wedding day! Not only did I feel like she was one of my friends alongside me all day, making sure we got the money shots & keeping it fun- she also came an hour earlier than we planned/ paid for just to be overly prepared and cover all her bases. She made us and our friends and family feel so comfortable and the photos look so authentic because of it. It’s clear this is her passion and she DELIVERSSSS!! We’re so obsessed with our photos and are so so grateful to have worked with Georgia on such an important day.
